if you have a birdbath outside (inside?...)
I highly recommend this cheap solar pump.
Last one lasted two years
I use it just plain, no nozzles, or it shoots too high in air and I lose the water in my small birdbath.

for eleven bucks it seems a good deal.
just got a new one, worked perfectly out of the box and got a second one for SIL

Didn’t accomplish anything today. Just wasn’t feeling that great. Took a nap right before supper, still groggy. Did mess on computer some this morning. Hard drive is full.

BEF- The older I get there are days that I get up earlier, start moving around later, and accomplish much less than anticipated. But on the good- I am still "moving" and "doing" something even if on a glacial or even celestial rate; but still doing. Naps are a good thing.

Many here can relate.

I have Owls around my place. I hear them. But have not been lucky enough to catch one while I have camera in a position to get a photo. I will keep trying.
I see owls mainly at day when driving sitting in a tree. At night sometimes they seem to dive on prey that headlights shine for them perhaps. Sometimes they get killed doing that because I saw one on the side of the road in the last few days. When I was a kid I was in the front seat and dad was driving and one came out and we was in 60 Chevrolet and it impacted windshield really hard scared the daylights out of me. If you're ever walking in a woods at night and one cuts loose with a scream over the top of you while they're sitting in a tree, you will not forget about it. 🙂

... has a side gig selling firewood he gets almost for free from local farmers to people going camping that usually buy it in grocery and convenience stores for outrageous money. Only in America I guess.
Nope, it happens around here too. Binalong Bay out towards The Gardens and South to Scamander are very popular 'getaway' camping spots for touring RV's and caravans. Many people put out A$15 small bundles of split firewood in road-side stands. Local grocery & petrol stations do the same.

Good early (Wednesday) arvo. Overnight Low of 6C with a heavy dew. It's presently a glorious, tee-shirt wearing 27.1C, clear and calm.

I've been 'into town' for, first, a coffee gathering of Veterans... a few of us anyway as most were seen yesterday at the ceremonies, then over to do my weekly grocery shopping. Lastly, a stop at the PO to pick up a delivered case of wine.

Later on I need to do some computer 'work' and then put out a round of hay into Paddock #4 when the 'Mad Agisting Horse Woman' arrives.

That's about it, take care all.
