so there are no lines hooked up at? and fluid isn't pouring out? are the filters blocked?
No flexible hoses are hooked up to the block that went to the FEL & backhoe. There are three hard metal lines that are attached to the distribution block that supply fluid to the 3 point and power steering. If I break the fitting fluid does flow.

Good question, I don't recall seeing a spool that can be turned. I'll take a picture tonight and post.
The three capped outlets were where the flexible lines were connected for the FEL and backhoe. The other picture is the pump I replaced with the hard line off the bottom of the pump goes to the front connection at the pump. Any suggestions if the connections contribute to the 3 point not working?

I have seen on other threads for Mahindra tractors that the wrong hydraulic filter other than an OEM one can cause problems. I did replace the filter with a Baldwin BT8488. Does anyone know if that filter would cause a problem on a Max26?

The wrong filter may cause A problem but it won't cause THIS problem. Your problem has to do with the "block". The three ports on the side had three lines connected to a loader valve? You removed those three lines and installed the three plugs we see in the photos? Do I have that right?

If that's the case, there must be some plugs inside the ports with plugs in them. Try removing the plugs and take some shots of the inside of them. Maybe that will tell us something. It seems what you've done has somehow blocked flow from the pump from going anywhere, and that's what broke the pump.

Could not find a parts diagram for the max 26xl. Found them for the max 25 and 28xl, your hydraulic block looks similar to the 25 with the relief valve mounted on the top. The block on the 2ixl is mounted on the pump. Thinking. You might want to pull the plugs and the relief valve and make sure everything’s clean and free. Don’t believe there’s anything behind the plugs.

Yes to the three plugs. I'll try to get us a picture. Thanks.

Your diagram looks very similar to what I have for the Max 26XL. I seem to have fluid flow through the system, but I will pull those plugs for inspection. Thanks.

I backed off the pressure relief plug on top of the block and let the tractor run for about 15 minutes. The system ran quietly and did not start the squealing as before.
Could it have been since I removed the FEL that the pressure was too high for the system? But the 3 point still does not work.
I examined the pump I replaced and it does not appear to be worn badly and spins smoothly. Maybe it didn't need to be replaced.

Backing off the relief valve probably lets whatever the pump puts out flow directly to sump, building little or no pressure. No squeal, but no work being done either.

You screwed up when you removed the loader valve and didn't get the plumbing right. You need to revisit the "block" and the three plugs. The answer is in there.

Not sure what backing off the top relief valve plug would do as the adjustment of the relief is set by shim thickness if it’s the same as mine and with no load the valve should be closed.
Just a wild ass guess on my part, but it sounds like the relief valve is open so there’s no pressure to 3 ph. Wonder if it’s because when the loader is installed they put a plug into one of the ports, and now there’s no hose connected but the plug might still be there.
