Tractor has broken Iseki motor e3112. Having problem locating parts. Anyone do a motor swap to another 3cyl diesel??

Sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately, you are the first to come forward with this kind of problem. So, we haven't had any experience here with that.

These engines are usually very reliable.

Going to tear down the motor Friday something cracked the oil pan. And it sounds like something big broke. It started for a second and I immediately shut it down due to the noise. No noise on slow crank but once she fired my lord. I have been told only parts are slow boat from china or boneyard.

Yea very odd these little ISEKI 1.1L engines like most in SCUT are pretty bullet proof, let us know what you find.

If you go to an auto parts store most parts are from China these days. China seems to be very adept at reverse engineering parts or making them in conjunction with companies from other countries. Wasn’t like this when I was in charge.

The same engine is used in production today - I have a hard time believing an AGCO dealer can't get you the parts. There is very few parts available in the aftermarket unless you look for used. Might try EBAY for used stuff.
