69F and "Fair" @ 14:00, heading up to ... wait for it ... 69F.

Just heard the attic fan fan kick on, so we've been getting a good bit of sun apparently.

Was up in the shop until pretty late late last night (a little after 04:00 when I knocked off)

Got back fence rail and fence front tube cleaned, mounted, and all waxed up.

Took bracket for pop-up splitter (which itself is MIA) apart for clean up, its bolt (specialized) is bent ... :(

Not sure what these are - probably just weeds - but they are kind of pretty:

Full Moon about to set very early this morning as I left the shop to come down to the house:

Agenda for today:

Probably mow down here around the house, as it didn't get done the last time I mowed.

Front lawn could also stand to get cut again, particularly given that they are calling for rain on Sunday.

Maybe cut down the weeds in the garden with the string trimmer.

Woman completed another trip around the Sun today.

Hope everyone is having a good TGIF ... (y)

I've been working on some of the details of my rv trip to Michigan over July 4th.
Good thing is I go pretty close by the selling dealership so if I find I need anything fixed, I know where to go.
But it ran fine today, really nice to have the steering not wobble.
But otherwise it's like driving a bowl of jello.

I won't say where he lives, he can do that, but I found out that RS lives pretty close to the famous Firestone Country Club.
Since RS does the work of two of us, at least, unlikely he has time for a membership there and chasing the little white ball around.
Can only imagine what entry fee would be. But I bet it's pretty, I'd be happy to drive the golf cart.

trying to fit in a short three day trip someplace local. Two nights. Maybe the Poconos, maybe the beach. Headed to DE in June I think, will try to get close
to the water. Then over the Mackinaw Bridge to Cedarville, MI in July. Going to be parked next to a lake, where town will be shooting off fireworks over the water.
Brother's home is 1/4 mile away.

Kilroy- I am happy to read that you are slowly on themed. I hope you regain full normal degree of function and range of motion soon. Those GUM Soft-Pics are great at removing at removing dog hair from 🍸

Ron- Thanks for sharing your picture; nice feather detail. The birds have been "pairng up" and some have “disappeared” around here.

Billie- Really great pictures and thanks for sharing

Drew- I can relate with you, Bill, Kilroy, Ted, (this list will grow). The important thing is to keep on moving no matter how slowly and/or painfully. My projects now are mainly focused on maintaining what We already have here. My “Biggie” long term now is enhancing the property to encourage more wildlife. I am happy to read that you got your rear light fixed

M7040- Good luck with the PT.

Popgadget- Once our solar panels were installed I retired my home made drone just in case. Thanks for sharing your pictures and helping out Drew.

Ken- That’s crazy. Nice picture though.

Ted- I hope your mower starts. Next week I’ll check mine.

David- Have fun at the “Friday Follies”

Dennis- Thanks for sharing your picture of quality time with Tig.

Phil- Thanks for sharing your good news, and I hope that neck muscle relaxes.

I have been resizing almost all my pictures, but I blamed that on the file size of my pictures. I still can not load videos, but I was able to post the visiting cows.

As for around here - some overnight showers with 0.11" of rain recorded. It was a mostly cloudy 40ºF for this morning's low temperature. The clouds broke up for awhile and there were periods of sun. The clouds have since built back in and it is 53ºF ATM. 54ºF was recorded earlier. I expect to see a mostly cloudy afternoon with maybe some limited periods of blue skies and sun with no real change in the weather. This weekend looks to be dry and sunny and warm.

The hummingbirds returned mid afternoon yesterday and was surprised to see both males and females and even better towards sundown a White-Throated Sparrow.

Maybe I’ll get a picture today to test “The System.”🍸
As of right now I feel better than when i woke up. I think what helped was parsing my butt on the sofa in an upright supported position and playing with the puppy for about an hour, so no major movements, but a ton of small ones (he is at the stage where he just wants to chew on whatever is closest, so I had a nylabone and nylon keys toy and just keep him occupied while Mrs did cleaning. I did it more to keep him from being underfoot, but it seems to have had some therapeutic effect. Still moving slowly, still getting “feedback” as I move around, but marked improvement from two days ago.

Boyo is addicted to firewood and kindling which he "steals" and chews. The living room often looks like I was using a chainsaw. I fashioned a shovel to clean up his debris fields and I sometimes will use a shop canister vac before I run the upright. He really does not like me taking back "his" wood or worse burning it. Thankfully he does not chew anything else in the house.

Even thought the exact same number was on the replacement clock motor/mechanism it was missing two wires that come out of the motor and go to start the bird calls each hour. So that project was abandoned and sent back to Amazon.

Instead I made some modified lemon bars - replaced lemon with orange and made them dream-cycle bars. Ingredients include white Japanese sweet potatoes, regular sweet potatoes (to give it the orange color), 2 oranges with zest, a can of Mandarin oranges, oats, walnuts, cashews, and dates. It is in the freezer getting hard and will be tasted after our evening walk.

94˚F, 50% humidity, heat index of 102˚ Hello Texas Summer. Good thing you are heading North Drew.

All the tractor drivers, except me, have been removed from this weekend's schedule, still trying to figure that one out.

Welder back together and functional, but boy do I need to practice before hitting the real thing. Likely not even attempt the actual fix today. Gotta leave for clinic soon. Using .035 flux. (Trying )
