Good morning, 51 going to 70 today with partly could conditions.

Alien, hope it gets better for you going forward. I am slowly changing my outlook to be happy for what I can do versus what I can not do. So far I have not had many limitations even at my age and getting used to some limitations whatever minor they may be compared to many of you is not an easy process for me anyway. Buppies, Kilroy and others ailing hope for speedy recovery.

David, good luck with your welding practice. LNG taken the BH off and on was a process I hated and using a BH from a skid steer that I adapted to the MF tractor made it especially tedious.

My shoulder feels better this morning so some progress but not to make it worse by overdoing things is now the issue to be cautious about.
Setting the heavy fence poles may be a problem so today will look at using the mini-x to pick up the pole by the end and lift it into position without having to manhandle it.

Watching coronation this morning fantastic ceremony. The Royals are in for a change as the younger generation grows up as has happen to other royals in Europe.
Thank you!

in other news, I stopped in the auto parts store and picked up two quarts of 80-90 for the drive motors when the time comes 😎

Thursday, on the way to the chiropractor, we took our garbage to the recycling center just up the road from the office. At one of the repair shops along the way, there was a vintage Bobcat 610 sitting out front, looking rather beat up. But, it is the same model as we had hhen we owned our business, so I pretty much know it inside and out. . . I think that, if it is still out there next week, I will pull over and inquire. If it is in serviceable condition, and available for a reasonable price, that would be a great adjunct to the mini-ex!

My dad has been working on some stumps in his yard so he can level the yard and topsoil it. Since he's using the massey FEL from the property that I need back out there to work on the road, figured I would help him out. He's a stubborn old guy and wanted to do it himself but after about 20 minutes I had them out. He was very grateful.

Nice Saturday morning.

The King is crowned.

And I stayed up and watched the 1st couple hours drastically reducing my sleep time.

68°F and .32 inches rain.

Shot arm a bit sore this morning and a slight headache, but that could be from poor sleep night.

Only focus today is my gate fix. Just practice, practice, practice until I feel I can do a functional fix. Weather dependent of course.

May take a time out for running of the Roses, if I remember.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

My major accomplishment is the lug hole in tractor hub is cleaned out using the tap I bought. Lots of in and out and oil. I ordered 2 new lug bolts today, but I removed an existing one and put it in the cleaned hole. They will all get loctite.

Good Morning!!!! 48F @ 5:30AM. Cloudy with periods of rain. High 63F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall around a half an inch.
Picked up a quarter inch of rain overnight, the first in quite a while.

Contractors showed up yesterday to pressure wash the house prior to painting next week, and also finished installation of the chimney cap and spark arrester. Didn't really need the heat, but got a fire going in the wood stove, and noticed it's not drawing as well as it used to. I suspect debris somehow got into the fresh air vent to the outside. Maybe need to get in there with a shop vac and see what comes out.

Not sure about this, Jay, but videos need to be hosted at a site like YouTube, then linked to using the stacked photo icon in the tool bar. At least that's what works for me...

Took a swipe at getting the VW running yesterday, and confirmed that the fuel pump isn't running. It's only getting about five volts, so there's a bad connection somewhere along the line. Didn't have time to pursue if further, but I know where to look next.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
RNG- Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

72F and sunny @ 13:30, heading up to around 74F for the high.

Hopper feeder refilled yesterday, also one suet feeder + cracked corn scattered for the ground feeders.

Also got most of the mowing done down here around the house, plus better than half the front yard.

Cub hit the 400 hour mark ... so about 200 hours/year.

Started cutting down weeds in garden with battery-operated string trimmer, then realized it probably go a lot easier (and faster) using the Cub so did that instead.

Will still have to take down some of them with the string trimmer due to perennial plants where I can't get the Cub in.

First crop of bluebirds of the year have hatched:

Really need to get that mealworm feeder up before the rain hits tomorrow.

Have three good-sized (12"+ dbh) ash trees that have broken off at the base and fallen into a maple over on the west side of the house creating an extreme hazard. That's in addition to the one that has already fallen down over there.

There's one that's still standing in the same area that appears dead as well.

Will have to do something about those probably this coming week.

Agenda for the rest of the day:

Finish mowing front yard and areas around the house that I didn't get yesterday.

Top off the front axle on the Kubota and maybe see about getting the Unisaw moved down here to the garage.

Will try and catch up later.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday ... (y)
