A Plymouth Scamp. A pickup truck based on the Charger/Omni platform front wheel drive. I went to a cruise night last night and this was there, freshly painted and nice inside and out. Not something you see restored very often. I wonder what the payload is? A six pack of Bud Light and a feather pillow?

Early 80s, I had an 83 VW Rabbit pickup (diesel) so about same time frame I think. Both Plymouth/Dodge & VW 4 cylinders low on power but not really all that bad. About 1,000# they could carry. Pretty good mpg.
Inexpensive and ok for hauling basic things.
I hauled a Pontiac 455 once in mine 100 miles. Always like different things at car shows. There are more red SS Chevelles today than Chevy ever made after all.

The one in your photo is the second Plymouth pickup I remember ever seeing. The first was probably from before WW2. It was at a car show as well.
