My suggestion would be to drive it across the pacific to the mainland, then across the country to PA, and I’ll plasma cut it out, fabricate and weld in a new piece.
Or take it to a local welding shop if that’s an option.
IMHO that would be the best repair and probably cheaper in the long run if you can get it to a shop nearby.

Road trip for David.

horrible trip to dentist. He drilled for almost 45 minutes, said I had a lot of decay around the new crown going in, oh geez, had to ask him to stop several times
as it felt like my head would explode. First my neck doesn't bend well, being fused, second my severe tinnitus makes that drill sound ten times louder, and the whole left side
of my head started to hurt. We were not having fun. I just hate the dentist. 1600 dollars later I escaped and promptly ordered a water pic...

David, do you have bumpy or rocky ground? You've had other stuff break before.
Too bad you aren't closer, Popgadget would make a work of art out of that.

spent almost an hour on phone with Verizon, very intelligent and helpful person, as Popgadget confirmed.
but his email to me would not go through (after he hung up about ten came through in a bunch) so I had to use my Iphone which
is very hard for me to text with due to hand arthritis, carpal tunnel, general decrepitude. Even though same company as cell phone folks, this division of Verizon
ran another credit check first, would not transfer/fill in data, had to start from scratch. That sure seems inefficient, but I guess they have saved so much money by not having bricks and mortar customer service, they are happy. Guy has to come and attach the line on Saturday, bring the modem, at least he will hook it up, and that costs 99 bucks.
Comcast last time was 75. At least I will save over 150 a month by cancelling Comcast altogether.

I asked about the speed of the internet service. Was told it was 300/300. I asked what they throttled the output to, like Comcast does down to about 11mb, and they said no throttling. This I have to see to believe. Just think of the nanoseconds I'll save posting TBN pics....
I saw zero reason to get 1 terabyte speed, or 500. Of course she quoted me the most expensive option first and didn't tell me I had choices.
Well I have their mailer ad in front of me...

time for a tylenol and a rest.

Drew, sorry about Dentist ordeal. Not my favorite either.
Sounds like Verizon might be a good change.

Yes a couple areas I mow are quite bumpy and likely major contributor. I have a couple areas where the furrows left by potato farmer are quite pronounced. Got this from a friend

and hope to smooth out some. I would have thought both sides would have been effected, but having 2 different lift pins likely contributed. The other side with original pin has no wear.

Trying to picture in my mind with that frame in my luggage making my way to Paul’s

My last crown was over an hour of grinding, and my dentist likes to have me upside down to make it easier for him. But he does good work. He tells me I’m a rough customer to work on.

Got rest of garden cleared of weeds, just using a hoe. Sun finally came out.
