No, that is list price.

bucket, thumb, 4-way blade, extended warranty, insurance taxes, fees etc came in about 60. 0/0-36months.

the nice shiny black paint on the bucket has been replaced by shiny bare metal and mud.
Based on that I could likely make money if selling mine. paid less than 50

spent a long time at Lowes looking at Ego. 3 Trimmers with 3 different power heads. I thought they were all the same, but each one was different. 2 were power+, but different. Figured if I buy a head only for $150 might as well get the trimmer for $50 more. But I walked away. They don't even carry the cultivator attachment. Maybe I'll go with the pole saw instead of a trimmer. And every time I touched a box, the security attachment would start beeping at me. Obviously no one to help, but I could stare at them without help.
Did pick up a 2x6x92 5/8 for $4.98, because that extra 3 3/8" cost another $2.26. Then once I got it home, noticed lots of cracks on the other side. Don't know how I missed that.
Huge line at DQ, only saw one car in line at Chickfila, so went there. By the time I got thru the 3 lights, their drivethru was packed again. Got my milkshake handed to me by the ugliest guy trying to look like a girl.
Doctor appointment tomorrow in middle of day will just about kill any chance of work. And hour drive each way.

Did it really cost $88K?

For that money, I'd be shopping for a real construction grade backhoe. Or for a bit more than half that, a construction grade TLB like the Kubota M62. The backhoe on mine has a 14' reach, and probably more down force than the mini-ex.

RNG
Check out the price on a new M62. I just went on the Kubota website and built one, nothing crazy, 1 loader bucket, one 24” backhoe bucket quick attach and remote hydraulics. $98k.

If you're talking steep and rough, I very much understand. I have spent almost as much time on three wheels as four on some days here.
Steep, rough, narrow, and awkward/tight turning around.

I have several walking trails to blaze through our property.

70 years ago, the lower part was open land for cattle, it is now full of vertical lumber.

And assorted and sundry creepers and runners.

I have started trying to do jump turns, with occasional success.

there are a whole lot of muscle memory pathways to develop!

When they guy delivered the excavator, he said “Keep it clean, don’t scrape the back end, and in ten years you can almost get back all your money on a trade in—- they keep their value if you keep them up.”

And I get the sneaking suspicion that you keep yours in Pristine condition. . . 😁👍

Sorry to read about your son’s issues and hope it does improve.

When I got out of the Army the 1st time, I was discharged from hospital and was enrolled in VA at less than 10%. When I went back in 7 years later, I had to get that discharge code changed. While active I was able to take advantage of Education and VA mortgage benefits.

After retirement, I tried a number of times but can’t seem to get on board, not even acknowledge my previous status. Have been told unofficially I will qualify under various scenarios, agent orange, hearing etc. Actually filled out forms and for more than a year would get a letter every couple months saying they were working on it. Then I got a letter with all the blank forms to start again. Of course I didn’t have a copy of the previous submitted. Never could get any info online. Attended a couple of the local seminars and still no help. All very frustrating. My only purpose is to be in the system in event something does happen to me, Sophie can possibly get some sort of assistance. Someday I may try again.
Does you local "Legion" or associated Veteran's organisation provide an 'advocacy service'?

Our Returned and Services League (RSL) has a Veteran's Centre that helps in negotiating/filling the myriad of forms required.
