Buckeye, like the video. If you are traveling near me you are welcomed to stay in my backyard campground.

We had briefly talked about a trip to our friends near Oshkosh WI this summer, but no set plans. We would go up thru MI thru UP and down. We know a young couple in Lapeer, they work for one of the car companies, both engineers. Our son visited them from TN and drove by you.
My relatives that used to live near Pontiac have all passed away.
Don’t think I’d pull the camper that far, but we would stop by for a meet and greet.
So far just a thought, it’s amazing how busy retirement has become.

Thanks J. No statins here yet.

thanks.

I've killed 2 blueberry bushes, well the 2nd one has a slight amount of green leaves coming out this spring, but looks about 90% dead. I put peat moss under the 2nd one hoping to give it a chance. a little better than the 1st one that lasted about 6-8 months.

Hope you get a motor with a correct shaft size, for a good price. Everything is too high.
I wanted to tell you thank you for keeping my daughter in your prayers. She is in a good place right now, just had her prom with a "good" guy for a boy friend for 5 months now. She had initially signed up for junior college, but a state website that gives approx costing for all the state colleges showed she could get far more financial aid at the big college. But when we found out, it was too late to get her registered for this fall semester. So, she will sit out a semester and try to make/save some money for a car. Then hopefully start next spring of 24.

A guy told me his wife had a BS in BS once. I told him she was still his boss.

So is lithium. (used for head cases)...Nice mini ex, I was going to joke that you could let some air out of the tracks. :)

RNG, glad to hear the home repairs are finally moving forward. Guess the Vanagon needs a fuel pump? (assuming you can't hear it whirring?)

Been trying to catch up here. I get about 3-5 days behind, then find that I only have time to read about 1 days worth per day.

Busy at work, our seniors are graduating and leaving us. sad. Tried to get a couple to stay and work on graduate studies, but they are tired of school right now and want to pay off some debt. Got free luncheon today as the school paid the senior students back a meal's worth of money. Award ceremonies were good.

Haaaaappy belated birthdays to Frits and Ron's son.

We've had a few inches of rain in the last few weeks. More to come later this week. Things are green, weeds are growing.

Prayers for LS1, Buppies, Drew, and others in need, our country, and Ukraine.

Where's PJS?
Oddly enough, my first thought was “let some air out” and when Mrs came over to inspect my wood butchery, she said exactly the same thing! 😂🤣😂

Good morning, 48 going to 78 today nice day

The trip up to Messick yesterday was nice using back roads mostly. Went up through the park with dirt roads. Now that all the service supplies are in place time to get working on Kubota service.

Phone call scheduled with our long time financial adviser today.

Mowed a couple of hours worth of grass yesterday and may do some more today

The VA has assigned a fiduciary person to manage sons money. Good call

Slept well. Arm soreness mostly gone.

Buppies, glad you slept well also

Daughters notoriety continues after being published on site with million views.
Hope she can handle it.
She got two more awards both monetary

Gilroy, hope you get a lot of work done with the mini.
I still can not believe how easy it is compared to past years using my tractors and various rigged systems

I just laugh and laugh watching it. She’s always knocking it and other things off. Today she knocked a bunch of stuff off my office desk, including my new game camera.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 4:30AM. Partly cloudy skies. High around 80F. Winds light and variable.

Just when you think you've seen everything, Doug comes up with a rat bomber!👍🏻

I did wire the fuel pump directly to the battery, Kyle, and was rewarded with a purring sound that told me it was running. The engine cranked but still wouldn't start. I've now messaged two wiring harness builders with no response from either one. So I'll keep looking.

What a salty group of stucco guys yesterday; F-bombs every third word, insults galore, but in a few hours they got all the chicken wire and tar paper from the first guy removed and new installed. The building inspector is supposed to be out tomorrow. Meanwhile the painters kept me busy helping with tarping and taping, and moving vehicles around. Fire truck didn't want to start until I gave it five gallons of gasoline; the gas cap was loose. Hate to think of what the inside of that gas tank looks like.

While enjoying a beer on the back porch, a flock of barn swallows started circling, then in ones and twos landing on the decomposed granite and stealing grains for their crops. There were some very impressive aerobatics going on as they fought for the best spots on the ground. I shot some phone video, and will post some later if it's any good.

Once the painters were done for the day, I limped the tractor back up to the garage by letting the forks on the FEL drag to keep the flat tire up off the ground. But the bead got caught somehow and came apart, so that tire was toast. A Les Schwab tire store 45 minutes away had two in stock, and I got out of there for $435 for both, about half what I thought it would cost. Job one this morning is to get the rest of the bead wire unwound from around the hub, then get the wheels back on.

Town run today for errands, maybe get the car washed. Not sure what else I'll get into.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Morning all, 60 going up to....80 and sunny.
Drove to one pool store to get salt, all they had were a few ripped bags, off to the next store and got there after closing, so 1.5 hours of driving for nothing.
Got back and planted some of the wifes flowers and did some pool cleaning and maintenance.

Sodamo - great to hear Sophie eye improvements, that has to be a big relief

Maybe go finally get some pool salt later.

Got the pool cover into the wheelbarrow once I was sure the paint was fully dried. That thing is heavy.

Be well,

Good Morning
58 and going to the upper 70’s under fair skies again.

Yesterday kept me busy for the most part, cut up sandblast rubber mask for the rock man in the morning after breakfast. Then did a few household chores before lunch. After lunch went to the airport and worked on the little plane. Made decent progress, got the oil screens cleaned, replaced the vernatherm valve, which acts as a thermostat, bypassing the oil cooler until it’s warmed up. The old one had a significant groove worn into the cone of the valve. Got the fuel screens cleaned and fuel selector valve lubed, and fresh oil in the sump.
Did a bit more work in the shop before dinner, then off to the airport authority meeting. No RC flying.

Today I’m going to mow, and do some RC flying for sure. Still haven’t tried the drone video, hopefully today is the day for that as well.
