Liquid is uptake through the leaves where as granulated is via the soil. I have both actually but with the current cost of granulated prills, liquid is less expensive.

What are you spraying it on and how much do you have to spray?

If this is true why do some farmers use drop spouts and dribble the liquid nitrogen between the corn rows?

That is still north of $4 a gallon
If you already have the tank, they can deliver bulk cheaper.
On 6/9 we paid $2.12 a gallon
(y) checking with the local fuel supplier would have been my first choice but my guy doesnt deliver that far away 😋 Pump price was 2.99 yesterday

It may be crop dependent. The farm I worked on added urea to irrigation water for green beans, but not for corn.
