Canada Day

Most were started by an arsonist who was caught and charged. Yet the media still reports it's all climate change and global warming.
Here's exactly what you said.

"Most" would imply more than half.
There are/were over 3000 wildfires in Canada so far in 2023.
"Most" would then imply over 1500 fires were started by "an arsonist who was caught and charged".

Well didn't think I was "spreading rumors"
My point was more to make fun of the fact that most media outlets are blaming "climate change" for EVERYTHING.

Maybe you should ask them why THEY are spreading rumors?

Jun 8, 2023 — Audrey Elaine Dunham, 54 of Glendon, has been charged in connection to multiple wildfires in the Bonnyville and Lac La Biche areas.
Now you quote Jun 8, 2023...

It happened in 2021. Two years ago!

All I ask is that people look up dates, facts, etc... before posting stuff that someone may have sent you, or you found online, or saw in a news feed, etc.

Sorry for the fake news. Another lesson to me, don't listen to the current news in Canada. I'll see if I can delete. Sorry to offend you.

Not offended at all. Not a tree hugger either. I heat our house primarily with wood. I even cut down trees on earth day. ;)

I only referred to what I have read and saw on news. Guess I better not quote them any more.

Anyway no biggie. I only care about tractors. They make me happy. Moving on now.

No not really but yes ish ... It is when we got our own government and the union of its provinces (stats) Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (July 1, 1867) we where officially a self-governing colony within the British Empire and only got our independence April 17 1982.

No offense, but you mean sort of independence with King Charles III as the current King of Canada.

Similarly kind of independent as the other 14 Commonwealth Nations are.
