Something makes no sense about this situation. Kubota will not finance a tractor without proof of insurance, just like a bank or credit union won’t finance an uninsured vehicle.How is he liable? If the damage was done by fire, not usually warranty. If customer didn't want or pay for insurance, the risk is born by the customer for passing on insurance.
The dealer may hold sales/finance guy accountable for not selling the insurance as it makes them $$. That doesn't help the customer though.
