67°F and another 2.44 inches rain, 10.10 for the storm.

Didn’t venture into town yesterday, so have to do that today. H&F this afternoon at friends.

I get get UPS delivery of some of my Prime Day purchases. Slightly admonished by Sophie but I can tell she is pleased with her replacement Apple Watch. I spent some time with the Eufy security cams but never got them into HomeKit. Placement will be after the rain.

This winter we will have the benefit of heating from the mini split which is working surprisingly well. Only on very cold days will we fire up with wood. But before that we would burn maybe 6 or more cords a year. I have at least as much to stack still. Working on it a little at a time. It will make two full rows and then go to a firewood shed as well

I bought mine at an online estate auction, not knowing, but finding out that it belongs to a kind lady at my church. Years ago, she asked if I'd be a pall bearer for her funeral. I couldn't say no. So good things happened and I was able to get her sleep number for less than $100.

We got a sleep number due to the wife's back condition...after surgery.

My number is between 75 and 90. Lol.

Is like sleeping on the hardwood floors.

Temperature dropped 25°. Lots of wind. .32” of rain. 30 mph winds. 25 minutes later sun is trying to come out. I did get grass mowed this morning.

was thinking I should go mow too....hot and sticky out, but more thunderstorms tomorrow.

battery for garage door came in, exactly the same size.
put it on charger and it went green right away.
put the old one on charger and it went green in two minutes.
hmmmmmmmm
ok, unlikely that battery was bad, maybe a loose wire?
tested the new one, clicked out the gfci and pushed garage opener, up it went, slowly but surely.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 2.7C and it's presently 9.6C, sunny and calm. There was 1mm of rain in the gauge.

House 'sprucing' done. I'm expecting a lady from my Church here in a wee bit to 'walk me through' some sort of on-line course that the diocese wants all Church Councillors to complete... I have no idea what it's about but I hope it's a 'one off' thing.

"Annual Training" is a bug-bear of mine. It occurs to justify someone else's job IMHO.
