Self leveling arms are nice for some things but back dragging is not one of them. Rather than reinforcing the arms, try curling the bucket all the way up so there is no way for it to bend and use the heel of the bucket to back drag. It works but takes a little more time to get it smooth. But you won’t tear anything up doing it that way.

And if he wants to really use the tip of the bucket for a little bit nicer finish, just put it in float.

Back dragging with a tractor loader bucket really isnt a good idea. If it is, why don’t the manufacturers put a cutting edge/heel on the bottom of the bucket? Does your loader operators manual have a section for proper back dragging technique/use?

Even if the guy was back dragging with the tip of the bucket those loader arms should not bend like that!

full dump, tractor being carried by the cutting edge and reversed it will bend the self leveling arms.
If the bucket was closer to flat it would take it fine.

Those arent loader arms, they are the the self leveling links.

Actually, adding a cutting edge to the bottom back of the bucket, would greatly decrease the chance of damaging the curl cylinders, because they would be fully retracted.
