Come on, you what you said is the same thing as saying it is harder to do. Jeez
To you perhaps, but not to me, then or now.

If you feel you need to play "word games" to have something to argue about, have at it, I'm not playing.

Sorry, I did not know that getting on and off a tractor was hard for you to do. My apologies.

Would be nice if the boot companies put a picture of a 'broken in' pair of boots that have been worn a few years.
I wish they would have one of those charts you can print off, step on it and get your boot size. Haix makes great boots and I would like to order a pair of these. But they’re sizing sux, and it’s expensive to keep mailing them back until you find the right size. Plus if you buy them on sale and have to return them you don’t get the replacement at sale price; rather, you have to start all over again.

But since you asked… image.jpg

I bought these around Christmas 2021. It’s taken me a while to break them in but now I wear them almost daily.

I always wanted a pair of Haix. What style are those?

Apology accepted, please don't let it happen again!

No problem, I try to respect old folk and those with mobility impairments. I just didn't know your physical restraints. My bad.

To get back on track here’s a picture of my next sawlog. It was in one of the few dry spots of my woods.
It was half dead with the bark peeling off one side and still tight on the other. Got a 20 foot stick before the top forked and cut 2- 10 footers to make hauling home easier

I looked at their website and saw some i might be interested in. But I really like to try on boots before I get them. Sometimes even that can be tricky. Also I get set on something and tend to stick with it unless it changes and I have to find a replacement.

I like Redwing and Keens, for work and Luchesse for non-work boots. I just recently bought a pair of 5.11 so called 'tactical boots' that actually are pretty good for what I need them to do, which is primarily be comfortable when doing chores and provide stability.

I do, also, that’s why I was rather disappointed to see that my favorite leather boot; chain saw resistant, Made in USA, for under $200; is no longer offered. Apparently they were being made for a third party by Carolina, and they don’t have time to fill the outside order. Right now I have my Haix, a pair of sneakers and one pair of low shoes for footwear and need another pair of work boots.

Here are a couple more pictures…IMG_2851.jpegIMG_2853.jpeg
By the time that these were taken my feet were about the only thing which was (were?) dry.
