Who is excited for snow season? Not us! We're depressed due to lack of snow.

I used to enjoy snow a little more before having chickens. They think snow is da debil and won't go out of their coop. I actually went in and tossed them out of their coop several times last winter when we just had a light dusting. Once they are out they are fine.

Chickens, for those who haven't been around them, can't deal with any little change in their environment without freaking out.

Excited - no. Glad - yes. The last four years I've not had to plow snow. Just an insufficient accumulation. Snow on the ground signals the end of wildfire season.

That looks like northern Maine; UP probably has a pretty similar climate as up here.

Yeah, I don't enjoy getting stuck on sleds wither, I quit that before I started. It's a young bucks game, but tractoring I can do into my wheelchair days (Hope they never come)

Sledded till I was 75 but back and neck issues put me out of business; miss it still but know the show's over

Not me, I hate winter! I am prepared at least with two nice walk behind blowers and now a tractor with a back blade if needed.

I gave up on my trusty honda blower a few years ago which I've used for 20+ years. Here it is and its replacement.
