I see Deere just introduced a 75 horsepower 4R. They also switched to all LED headlights, worklights and beacon light. And electronic 3 point hitch control.

I know this post is old but I just saw one of these for sale at Ag-Pro for $75K. I thought wow that's up there. Then I looked at the specs and even though it's a 75hp tractor it's only putting 60hp to the PTO. Out of curiosity I looked at the Kubota L6060 specs and it's putting 54hp to the PTO. That's a huge loss in power for the Deere.

Seems more like a HP race in that size category than something that's really useful because the weight just isn't there for the HP. There's still folks out there still using the IH 100 Hydro but it's a 12,000# tractor.

kubota has always been more efficient in the transfer of engine horsepower to the PTO but that is a big difference. Not sure if it is all in the marketing and rounding of the actual power numbers.
anyone have dyno numbers to prove them. here in quebec canada tax rules also change based on 75 engine hp or 60 PTO horsepower. so that tractor is automatically 15% cheaper than a lesser HP model because of the no tax advantage. Thats 15,000$ off. if you want a loader on your 87,000$ tractor = 100,000$
