Purchased an old 2 bladed 48" finishing mower. No name badge. The included picture is not mine but is it exactly. I am trying to find a manual, belt diagram and the original spec for the belt. It works fine except for the belt popping off every ten minutes. So I know something is not right with the belt. Thanks for any and a help on this. I should add that mine does not say Kubota on the side.

Be sure to check the spindles to be sure they are tight and not sprung. They can also cause the belt to jump off. Ken Sweet

Thx. I will check the spindles.

Check your pulleys also and the guards against the pulleys
If the pulley wobbles you can replace the bearings
Also the zerk on the spindle more than likely will not grease
the bearings because most bearings are sealed and it would
take a lot of grease just to get to the bearing as the spindle is
hollow. You can get a needle for your grease gun to actually
grease the bearings by lifting the seal on the bearing

Thx heaps. I have set aside some time to check spindles and Pulleys. Any idea on original manufacturer?
Checked the spindles and pullys and they seem in good shape - little play or worn sides etc.

Thx for the supply tip. Sadly I am in Ontario and between the shipping and border duty, items balloon to four times the original price. Yes I have been caught with that a couple of times and am more wary about it now.
