Salaries must be enormous in CA to afford cost of living. Regular is $3.28 near me today.
$4.39 a gallon in the town nearest me...but they have the cheapest gas in Nevada. Most of Nevada is right around $5 a gallon. Not as bad as California (which has a really high tax on gas) but bad enough for those of us who have to travel a lot because we live so far from civilization.

I can see that for Nevada because transportation must be a price killer.

You really have to feel for hard working Californians barely scraping by that didn’t vote for this nonsense.
Trouble is most Californians vote FOR those that put these taxes in place. The same is going on up here. Often city folk that do not own a vehicle.

Yes sir, deep blue in those areas. That almost always means high taxes & high prices.

Maybe our Exxon/Mobil stock isn't such a bad investment. Looks like gas and diesel prices aren't the only thing set to rise. Once the price of electricity gets too high to charge an EV economically, perhaps some folks will come to realize that they didn't make such a smart buy. Then they can revert back to an ICE, if they are still available. Also looks like a bailout opportunity.

Opportunity to buy more stock at a lower price! Diesel today was $3.66, $3.36 after using my Brookshire's Grocery points. Regular gas was $2.99.
