I've been looking at stump buckets for a while, just for general use and to have on hand, nothing in particular.
Finally see a sale pop up on the palletforks.com titan site. $570 down from $650, cool, figured I'd order it.
Now I've not ordered from them before, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but they are adding in a $75 handling fee that I did not expect.
That makes it cheaper overall via amazon, $647 w/tax as it is on sale there too for $599, which is a bit higher than direct, but no handling fee.
Arrr!

This seems crazy too, they are not liable if the delivery is stolen in transit, not even getting to your property. This is just crazy, you need to pay additional for that too.

The more I learned about how they do business and the name issue with the real Titan, I wouldn't do business with them anyway. Deceptive companies don't change.

I recall the name issue, but I'm not real clear on the details. Care to lay it out here so all will know the full story on this non reputable company?

I can't imagine anything that they sell that would NOT be described as "size, weight or special handling....".
Come on guys, just add $75 across the board. I think that wouldn't leave the same "bad taste" with your prospective customers.

Heck, you're shipping it's free, it's just a "handling" charge lol? Businesses getting so inventive lately, it's like how we went out to eat not long ago, and they stuck an "equity" fee into the bill.

There were two Titans. Both in TN. Not affiliated with each other. The one that is more reputable changed name to Ironcraft and their stuff is carried by many dealers across the country. The other that primarily goes by palletforks.com sells consumer direct out of a warehouse outside of Memphis. They make nothing, all imported Chinese stuff. They can be sketchy. What they sell you can usually find someone local to you who imported and is selling the same crap.
