Mahindra 2638 Oil Pressure Issue

Good day all,
I have a 2020 2638. 380ish hours. The oil pressure light came on...i removed the sensor, Started it briefly - (plenty of pressure) and replaced the sensor with a new one. The light is still on...Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Does the light go out if you remove the wire from sensor? You could have a wiring issue keeping the light on with or without oil pressure.

Well Im officially an idiot...I got distracted with a phone call and re-installed the same pressure switch....New one shut the light off...Thanks for the reply Harry!

Sounds like something that I’d do. So much better than actually having low oil pressure!
