Good morning!

God has given us nother chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

30.0F going to low 60’s sunny day Forecasted.

Running around with mon moderately successful, Dis not get to seamstress because I guess we had always managed to go there in the middle of the week…

So we finally got to see that sign, I guess it hasn’t gotten any better yet, in spite of what some “experts” say. . . so another trip next week. i Would continue about taxes and where money gets sent but I don’t want to get sent to TBN timeout…

Harry is going for neutering today, so the next several days will be close to home. We tried the inflatable donut on him last night, he was not a fan, and because of his streamlined shape, he kept getting it off, even though we had the collar tightened almost to the point of strangulation, so I put him in his harness and I rigged some paracord to keep it from moving forward and that worked, so that setup will be what he wears for the next several days, because the Sirius Satellite Diah would just leas to destruction and pain for everything and everyone.

But that should give me time to catch up on a bunch of minor home tasks, including cleaning up and organizing that I have neglected/avoided/ not had time for…

time to start getting ready for the trip to the vet.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Good morning! 54˚F, heading to the mid 60s, North breeze, clear skies.

Had to laugh when picturing Scott in his speedo holding a colorful umbrella drink on a tropical island standing up and sitting down quickly trying to beat my time. From sunny tropical to snow looks like you will have a shock.

PT went well yesterday with all new exercises.

Microwave is turning back on when I open the door so it is out of service. Will look into that today to determine if it needs to be repaired or replaced.

l also have the dual AC on the Ranger always blowing heat on the passenger side except when set below 63˚.

38 outside this AM, heading to 60. Another nice day on tap.

Household and farm chores on tap for today.

Spent last evening in a Town Hall meeting about the influx of data centers and transmission lines into the county and neighboring areas. Seems Virginia is globally unique in this growth pattern. There seems to be some serious transparency issues when dealing with these projects. Especially so when dealing with the vast number of projects and how they are presented to local and state officials. Very eye opening. Almost, I say, almost depressing.

Anyhow, hope all have a great day. Hope those ailing, heal faster, Stay positive.

Mike, those data centers apparently are responsible for huge electrical demands, some communities have banned them.
How can computers use so much juice?
is it all the air conditioning they need to cool the chips?
never connected computers/data searching with huge electrical demands but clearly the tech has changed.

They are trying to move into Maryland as well having purchased an old Alcoa 2000 acre facility to redevelop close us

This entity is the driver of the electrical grid for our area. PJM stands for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.

The link is their intro page. If you care to seek information on projects and planning, they have all their documentation available.

It's a monstrosity.

It sure has changed for me. I used to build my own PCs. The latest and fastest processor, maximum ram, top tear video board and the best motherboard. All mounted in a full-size tower with a TV tuner front display. I spent thousands of dollars on those machines.

Now my PC mounts on the back of my display. It came preloaded with Windows 11-Pro, 16Gb of memory, 4.2Ghz processor and built-in Iris Xe video processor. It runs my CAD, Canvas Workspace, Inkscape, Lightburn Laser software and my Bambu Studio software for the 3D printer. All this in a package about 4"x4"x2" and for less than a current mediocre video card. I have auto-login set so it boots to my custom star field background ready to go in about six seconds. o_O
