Who is excited for snow season? Not us! We're depressed due to lack of snow.

Battery heated clothes are intriguing. Maybe when I'm older and my metabolism changes. I can honestly say I've never been uncomfortably cold when ice fishing. The coldest I've ever been out was -22F, and after an hour or so, my late father in-law couldn't take it anymore, so we went in. I wasn't cold, but I didn't argue, either.

Don't know about the Dewalt heated gear, but I have a set of Gerbing heated gear from my motorcycle days. Socks, pants, vest, and gloves on a 2 zone thermostatic control. I used it on my previous open station tractor for a few winters, and kept nice and warm.

I have a Milwaukee jacket and a hoodie. They both work really well but I wouldn't by the jacket again. The hoodie is easier to wear under coveralls etc. And it has a hood which I prefer.

I got a heated vest a few years ago and found it was quite warm, to warm really and I'll only wear it when super cool out. Battery gloves might be in the works but we don't get much cool weather here. I do have heated grips/throttle on the 6x6.

Thanks forum guys apologize for being a "snow drift" lol I got my Xmas present suggestion now. I will say I'm more excited for snow season though.

I began the process of installing plows. Took the hay mower off the Massey 7495 and installed the Western 10’ Heavyweight.

I need to get the Challenger ready too, but it’s still being used everyday for hay and mowing fields.

Much smaller job but need to mount up the inverted blower, but thinking I may modify the 3 point mounts since when backed up last year on the hi way plow berms at driveway ends, the blower will not drop all the way down.
Probably more of the tractors issue but easier to modify the blower so that I can get a full fill of the blower instead of backing up twice.

I always think that and then when you have other plans all heck breaks loose and the stuff won't quit falling.

Im looking forward to snow season this year.. Because I will be in Fla all winter. It's the first time I have taken a winter off in more than 35 years. I honestly don't think I can do it anymore. I actually get agitated and in a bad mood as the temps drop to sub 40* these days.
