Nice day today but the Cedar pollen is affecting South Texas. It comes down here from the Hill Country NW of the big city about this time of the year. Gotta try and get some chores done.

The wind is changing directions this morning so we will send the cedar pollen to Oklahoma.

Good Morning! 55º going to 77. A break in the storm today. We got significant rain yesterday with big thunder ! This AM I will grade the road. Looking forward to removing the washboard created by too many people driving too fast. Then more rain Friday into Saturday am.

It’s 33 and will likely break 60 today under clear bright skies.

Yesterday went well, didn’t get a lot done when I got home, as I stopped at a friends equipment dealership on the way home. He sells Honda, Stihl, Echo, Exmark, Husqvarna and lots of construction brands as well. Had a nice visit, checking out all the cool new stuff like autonomous mowers and battery powered gear.

Amazon delivered the lithium 9v batteries I ordered for the smoke detectors, so I installed them, ran to HD for a couple of new toilet seats that mrs gadget wanted replaced, and that was about it.

Today I’ll install the toilet seats, cut a little sandblast mask for the rock man, have a little bit of paperwork to take care of prior to the settlement on one of the planes I’m selling for my friend’s widow this afternoon.

Maybe squeeze a Costco run in, but not a priority.

Good evening all. 47ºF to start day, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Very light wind, Sky mostly clear, and high temp was 72ºF. Men's meeting to start day, bike ride, lunch then stepdaughter came over for working obituary, got me booked on America to Hawaii where I will be with granddaughter, her husband, and great granddaughter, plus a bunch of his family. Will be gone 1 1/2 weeks will have laptop should be able to post. No nap, stepdaughter took me to dinner at Tex Mex restaurant to spend wife's gift card
I am going to try to catch up.

Been in a number of family run Tex-Mex restaurants, not a lot of sour cream or cheese. Menus descriptions let you know and you can opt out of cheese and sour cream.

Good morning, the low is 27 and the high to 45°F. Zero wind. Mainly sunny.

Today is dump/town day, I cannot medicate my knee until after we go to the dump. I will get some more rubbing alcohol while I am there. The water, rubbing alcohol and Dawn dish soap concoction works great! Now we kill them on sight, rather than waiting for them to P me off. The squirter bottle I have will squirt 3', straight stream or fog, it doesn't matter.

That is 'it' for today, have a safe day all

I have a couple sprayers with water and detergent for stink bugs and it works well.
