The warmth has left us. Coming week lows in the 27-30 range and daytime highs around 40.

I got an invite to a presidential candidate forum, which I went to yesterday. It was held at Sukup, which has it's world headquarters in Sheffield IA, about 20 miles west of me. I'd never been to anything like that. Same questions and answers as I've seen on TV, but it was a good experience. Got to meet him and talk a bit after. Good, solid handshake too.

Morning all, 48 going up to 52 and sunny, still bug season in November, but it should cool down a bit.
Yesterday after work went and picked up some new medicine finally and cleaned out dishwasher, then just relaxed, energy was done. Slept in til 9 this morning. New medicine (lower dose) seems better so far.

Very windy here, will take son for driving lesson and then time to disassemble the fire pit. Wife needs to go to mall to return some stuff. So not too busy.
Will get a workout with the cinder blocks , moving 500 or so pounds is easy when it's 38 pounds at a time.

Leaves are down here and just blowing around now, will need to move some around once the wind calms down. Still need to buck the downed tree, and yes, more firewood....

Wow! I recall, a few years ago, I was in Midland/Odessa,Texas on business. Woke up with a very low tire. Had spotted a Discount Tire store close to the Hotel so drove straight there. They had my flat fixed and I was leaving their parking lot before I could drink a cup of coffee.

Things are different nowadays.

Before the influx, Went to Bastrop Discount Tire store on a Saturday at 10ish, wanting new tires. They said maybe by 5 pm.
Then made appointment while going 60 miles the other direction to Brenham, got there 30 minutes early and checked in. Had to wait more than 30 minutes past my appt time. Got out of there in about 2 hours. Still beat the original 5pm estimate.

I'm using less and less pain pills - refills last for 4 days (at full dossage) but each refill I'm making last 3 days more than the last. Wednesday night I had to use more than my self limiting number because the "Sister of Igor" really pushed me to my limits.

Good morning! 59˚F, heading to the mid 70s, S breeze turning to North this evening, mostly clear skies.
Went to the estate house to get it ready to sell to my cousin. We still need to make numerous trips to goodwill. I found my old metal detector and googled Garret metal detector parts and the first part was the one I needed. Should be able to test it next week.

Went to Giddings yesterday and paid the estate property taxes. When we got to the house I noticed the gate was open and the surveyor was there. Progress toward closing.

I still have my trailer to sell and might have to get Kyle or his son to sell it on commission if they want to tackle the job.
Kyle There are about 100 canning jars I'm going to take to the glass recycle unless you want them. Also my nephew has 2 boxes of old hand drills left of the 5 he started out with. One drill is a two speed like I sent Kilroy.

Got to hustle PT this morning.

Wife says we have no room for canning jars. But thank you, also I would list the trailer on Facebook marketplace and it will sell. Can the garden area use the trailer? Or the farm you worked at?

I'm having to deal with more and more stuff for my mom.

65°F and no rain.

Headed to friends after coffee to help mount his replacement on demand water heater.

Power made it through the night. But don’t know if because we isolated a potential component with a problem or just git lucky.

Bruce, if you decide to take side trip to Hilo just let me know.

that's what I was trying to find out. The salesman says the "field ready" brand they sell are their brand.

It might be their brand…… but do they have a battery factory? I don’t think so!

I ordered a nice 20 volt work light. Works great. You'd think it's a simple thing, right? Jeez, it came with a double sided 36" x 24" instruction sheet, in three languages. At least it's made somewhere other than China (Vietnam).
