Had a Snap on 1/2” ratchet that had been my Grandfathers. The square shaft was shattered.
Caught a Snap on truck at one of the local garages and showed it to him. Told me that this model was only sold to Industries, not to garages or private individuals. He then proceeded to repair it free of charge.

I have SnapOn - Proto & Mac tools. I had a half inch Proto drive fail. Took it to the local dealer. He was excited because he said it was an antique. Sooooo..... I've had it quite a long time. He gladly replaced it with a new drive.

Never bought a Snap On, but do have a snap on hammer, it's pretty nice, but I would not have paid $105 for it... Found it on the side of the road.

I have a lot of Snap-On tools, bought mostly back in the 70s and 80s before they got so stupids expensive. I have bought a few since then, a couple of sockets and pliers, but I rarely need tools that I don't already have. I'm on my 4th Snap-On dealer now, probably be my last one.

Same here. Good tools, but most are poor values.

I just sent 2 of those back to Snap-on and got the new ones back a week later. The handles don't hold up forever, as they crack and turn to dust.

I got a lot of tools from yard sales for almost free compared to new. The only things I got from snap on were a modus scaner/occiliscope, random specialty tools and a tool box. The tool box was the worst purchase but they were not as many options for other good boxes as there are now. It sure was fun organizing the tools in it the first time though.
