Good Morning
37, might go up as much as 5 degrees throughout the day. Mostly cloudy, becoming partly cloudy.

Yesterday was lot of running around, actually had to burn some gas in the Prius, even with plugging it in midday. But it still has half a tank left on the first fill up.
Got a lot done though. Even checked up on the little plane at the avionics shop. It’s coming along nicely.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor, I want to clean up and get ready for some oil changes, UPS says 17gallon drain cart will be here today.

Not a lot else to report, we’ll see what the day brings. Seems like every day has had a mind of its own lately, with little regard for what I might have planned.

finished last pass at leaves, that should be done for the year
put up two more stands of lights, let there be light
one is solar, always wonder if it will turn on

then caulked the rv toilet after turning on the heat in there, that finishes that job.
I'm leaving the tube of grey caulk in the rv...just in case.

speaking of caulk, when cleaning lady leaves, going to recaulk the bathroom. Some of caulk looks 40 years old.
not a fun job but a get to it that may finally have its day

I have never found a good way of saving a tube of caulk; they always seem to harden. Nail in end, screw in end, sooner or later it all
turns to rubber. Found the old tube of bathroom caulk I had put away two years ago, nope, like a brick

one thing to throw away a three dollar tube of caulk.
But they are 9 bucks now.....................I saw DAP for 13 bucks in hardware store.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 8:00AM. Areas of dense morning fog. Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 67F. Winds light and variable.

Gotta love those so called investment advisors. Always trying to preach a balanced mix of stocks and bonds regardless of the economy and world events. No good answers to pointed questions. Most of 'em are so young they've never seen the variety of events and conditions I've lived through, and don't know how to respond. Got away from that when I moved to Vanguard; they never call, but I do get an electronic "invitation" to use one of their managers one or two times a year that is easy to ignore. Got the new engine computer permanently mounted to the driver side B pillar on the van yesterday, then traced down four of the wires needed to get it running. Plenty more to go, but it's a start. My helper is busy today, but I'll work some more on it after it warm up.

Not sure what else is on for today...

67°F and .15 inches rain

Closing in on my solar settings. generator ran 9 times between 2-7 Am yesterday, but only a total of 1.4 hours, longest run 14 minutes. Knowing this was able to tweak settings to come on one increment (lower voltage)later and stay on one increment (higher voltage) longer. Of course I can’t test this until another day with insufficient daytime solar production. Depending on results I could conceivable tweak again, but not until equipment is back to 100%.

HH was a great success at neighbors. Her 1st time hosting. My Salmon/Shrimp soup a big hit. None to bring home.

Plan is to start round of mowing today
