Up in the middle of the night, got an hour or so of sleep, then had a coughing spell.
slept in yesterday, expect I'll sleep in this morning once I go back to bed.
Costco run yesterday. Then I stocked up on pellets in the porch box. used 14 bags so far. Then put up the christmas lights on the front fence. Pulled something pounding in a t post in the yard.

Coffee is brewing. 24° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 37° with cloudy skies. Spent more time on phone with PC Dr. accounting. Hope they are getting the message. "FIX IT". Did some more work on Trac-Vac hitch. Got holes drilled and assembled on tow bar. Took for a short ride around yard. Works good. Will take it apart and put a coat of paint on it today. After I get back from grocery shopping.
I am sure this bird is singing a good song.

36 going up to 43 in clouds today, not very warm

new work coat showed up yesterday, strange how they come in that vacuum shrunk bag.
looks ok, might break it in today getting a little motor oil on it. It's too clean.

Don, so glad you are improving to where you can go out and do what you clearly enjoy.

those pics of the Texas group were really fun. Nice pic of Betty Ron.
Maybe next October, when I hopefully swing through Texas on the way home from CA, we can have
a simple get together. I hope Bird makes it, has someone checked on him?

Popgadget, unlikely you would be a passenger in a big plane but you never know
if you heard the call, how hard would it be to land a 747-400 or big Airbus all by yourself?

This winter is supposed to be warm for us up here. That means lots of snow. Suits me just fine. Although we do need about a week of -40 temperatures that can wait until just before spring. That'll kill off the blackflies.

Not much going on today, stay in the house. I do need to go outside and see how much fuel is in the furnace tank. I like to have my furnace oil tank full going into the new year. I also like it full going into summer.

Buppies, glad the kidney checked out okay. Local weatherman has predicted the biggest snow total here since 5 years ago...he backloaded it into February, though.

Yesterday, my wife and I had a really good time grocery shopping, of all things...probably a combination of the places we went and some of the folks we struck up conversations with. Everywhere was busy. Had some good tacos and queso at Torchy's.

Pops, nice instrument panel. What year model is your plane? Bet it is quite the upgrade from stock.

It’s a 1977 Grumman AA1C. I bought it in 1995 to teach my son to fly. Later replaced the engine with one about 50% more power.
