Phil, congrats on the competition! Beautiful turnings.

MMMMM..... maybe Paul can fly out a latke AND a waffle cone......:giggle:👍

All drip irrigation done for now. Even got a quick nap in between zones.

First package from Temu arrived, quality is good, items as described and as expected. This was from my second order.... the first order is still in transit..... ???
The first order was placed 4 days earlier, but still on the move. 2 other packages didn't leave the PO distribution center until late this morning after sitting there for 2 days. I guess that's the new USPS.....

Hit a record high here today -- 58°. High for Sat. is going to be 30°.... Now just have to deal with the wind tomorrow....

Tomorrow's agenda is already set. Will go to Costo first, then to a restaurant supplier for a few bulk items. That will probably eat up most of the day.

Time to put up the feets .... going to watch a series about Pearl Harbor on the 'Story Channel', a free channel provided by the History Channel.

Everyone have a pleasant evening!

No changes medically for either of us. It appears that her voice is now permanently
damaged. My neck and fingers/toes are staying tolerable with meds. Acid reflux is acting up some. Will need to watch the diet for a bit.
Very sorry to hear. Hope it can be corrected.

I had big plans but installing a little parking brake light was all I got done lol.
Hope you all have a great evening.

That’s on my list for Sophie’s BX. Just waiting for the led/buzzer to arrive.

Plan to use a magnetic switch.

Ted, I’m thinking Temu shipping is better than Amazon. Seems for awhile now I can order something from them and it just sits there, even a warehouse item, then it suddenly ships a few days before the date. Seems to mean that especially a Prime item in the warehouse should ship rather quickly.

I used the OEM switch. I just soldered my + wire into their switch wire and bingo...it works just like the dash light

Had to run to the JD dealer for a bolt and washer that goes on my front end loader. The parts should be in Saturday morning. Other than that nothing exciting here. Coffee drinking location is going to change soon. Will be an improvement but takes time to adjust.
Hope everyone stays safe and reasonably well fed!
Prayers for our country and Israel, especially the hostages. Special prayers for anyone here needing a healing touch.

Started coffee brewing. 33° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with mostly cloudy skies. Drive to pickup camera range extender was good all the way and back. Stop at Kubota dealer got me some Kubota colored gifts and a quote for a new front mount mower. Not going to happen at $29k. I can always dream. Trac-Vac is back together and ready for next falls leaves. No plans for today, yet.
Sharing.

Good Morning All.

Good morning, the low is 22 and the high to 34°F. Wind NNW 11 mph. 60% chance of precipitation, probably come as freezing rain.

If we do get the freezing rain, I have plenty of ashes, so no worries about traction. As long as my 7 dead trees stay vertical we will come out of this smelling like a rose.

Nothing on the agenda for today, so I will conserve energy.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
32 going up to a "warm" 49 today
going to try to change the oil on the motorhome this afternoon, would like to get that done before cover goes
on tomorrow.
friend picks up a pizza on way over and simple dinner planned for tonight.
need to run downtown and pick up a dessert of some sort. Local supermarket has a good selection.

Ron, I paid 21k for the least expensive Kubota F 2wd 72" mower thinking it would solve my ten acres of lawn problem in NC.
Boy it mowed lawn, but what a terrible ride. Very rough, no suspension. The one with a/c and a cab was close to 28k.
those mowers are indestructible but before you buy the mower of your dreams, better drive it over rough ground first.
I'd buy a Ferris for a nicer ride, assuming I could, which I can't, can't grip the sticks. RS's commercial Cub Cadet with the steering wheel
seems like the current best tech. Now if Ferris would make a ZT with a steering wheel, well that I would like to see.
Suspension seats are good, real suspensions are MUCH better. More maintenance though...tends to have a lot of zerks.
good reason to get a nice Dewalt power grease gun...which you might already have for your FEL zerks

Scale was not kind this morning. Depressing to be at 240 when I absolutely need to be at 220. (210...)
primary doc told me I was my own worst enemy. Well thanks Doc, I'm sure I didn't know that already. :cautious:
