This guy popped up while I was watching some of my normal channels. Kind of interesting what he notes about different inventory levels in different regions.

But I hope people continue not paying these ridiculously high prices for pickups and inventories grow and grow, maybe the manufacturers will get the point and lower prices to reasonable levels. Same for the tractor manufacturers, I see their lots overflowing as well.

The Ford dealer who I have bought more than a dozen vehicles from over the years.. In 2021, When I was looking for a F450 to pull a 5th wheel.. Had one on his lot that I wanted to buy. I was trading a MINT 2017 F350 Platinum 4x4 diesel so they were getting something they would be able to flip quickly.. Anyway..they said they wanted 15K over sticker for their truck. .. I walked out and shopped them for the first time in as long as I can remember. .. This was a dealer where I had always bought vehicles with a phone call.. They may have been 500-1k more than another place, But the relationship was worth it to me.. But to try and gaff me for 15K over.. That was the end. They have since lost 2 more purchases from me due to that.

Similar experience with me. I had a “go to” Ford dealer I had bought trucks from for about 15 years. Fortunately, they gave me the same gouging technique, which sent me to a Ram dealer and now I am much happier.
I’m sure there are similar stories across all brands.
