Nice tractor, what did Shirley get out of that deal?
Well, there was no cap and I got the sweatshirt. A happy husband? Lol.

Honestly, that woman is impossible to shop for, she just doesn't want much. The most she was ever wowed was when I gave her a dozen theamed socks. Christmas, Halloween, running, walking, reading...not jewelry, socks!

With the hst tranny, I told her she may want to drive it sometime. I caught a little twinkle in her eye. I may have made a mistake. 😀

No you need a front facing rear mounted snowblower they are a great tool to have no more snow banks blow it away

It's been a long time since I posted here, I think 2008. But I've sent many this was for advice. So I'd like to say thanks to you all for sharing your knowledge, I've been lurking for the last few months....

I was thinking about getting a quick release installed on my 3510 2006 mahindra. But I've also been wanting more horsepower too.
If I drive 30 minutes in one direction. I go past John Deere, Case, Kubota and New Holland.
Case and Kubota didn't even call me back after they said they'd look into some questions I had. JD was $6,000 more for a similar model so I ended up going blue!

Only got a couple hours on it but so far so good. Love the heated cab, just hope I don't wreck it. A root grapple is ordered and will be here in spring.

Crazy thing is. I paid 16,600 for the Mahindra in 06. They gave me 20,000 for it on trade in.

Wow, great trade! I'd like in on that deal. Your tractor wasn't part of that 03-07 gold smuggling ring, was it? Rumor has it the loader arms/assemblies were filled with approximately 1.2m in Indian gold ;).
Seriously, that is a sweet deal.

Congratulations. What horsepower is the new one? I’m in virginia and having a cab makes a huge difference both in summer and winter. I’m sure in your area it will be a game changer. There’s just so much more left of you at the end of the day when your body isnt fighting the heat and cold the whole time. Plus dust and insects.

Congrats on the new tractor.

How many hours did you have on the Mahindra? I'm shocked that you got more money from a Dealer then you paid for it!!!!!
Don't be surprised on how much they give you trade in. Same as the car market, they jack the price when you trade. That's why the 1st thing they ask is if you have a trade. In the industry it's called PUTTING THE CUSTOMER TOGETHER

The trade in value of your tractor is directly related to the purchase price of your new machine. Also never believe 0% financing. The final purchase price of your new machine is ALWAYS adjusted higher if you're using zero percent financing to Make up for the use of Someone elses money. Congraduations on your new machine. May It give you many years of good service.

Congrats on the new Tractor! Its interesting the difference in bucket geometry between the two. At first glance it looks like the Mahindra bucket would hold a lot more?

Then it becomes hers and you just found an excuse for a bigger one. The couple that tractors together stays together! :)

False. The prices will collectively go up for people with bad credit. Some dealers will give a cash discount, but the ROI on investing the money and making payments is usually much better return. Lenders don't give a darn about individual deals. They make money on the aggregate of deals in a traunch.

Trade-ins are a level of negotiation for dealers. They have to be right more than they are wrong. Sometimes you get a deal when you take it all in. In short, absolutes are rarely correct.

Some auto lenders will give a better rate when you trade-in your vehicle. The data shows that people who trade are less likely to default. The idea being that most people need a functional car to work. The same is not true for many tractor purchases, though.
