New Holland TC33D
I have water in my diesel. To catch this problem faster next time I want to put a floating ring in my sediment bowl/ fuel filter bowl. I have seen them on Mahindra and JD but not New Holland. Any tips on where to get one? Has anyone been able find one that fits on a NH? I have a TC33D.

Looks like one from a jd 770 tractor will fit. That's the one i got for the kubota it was around 3.00

There's nothing special about the floating rings in sediment bowls, as long as it physically fits. That said, it's not difficult to see a water line without the ring.
I replace the primary filters on my diesels with larger Racor water separating filters. They are the best and easiest to service filters I have ever used.

My question - why not fix the cause of the problem. Where is all the water coming from - fix that. Been out here on the "80" for over forty years. Never, even once, had any problems with moisture/water in my fuel.

I would guess that SkidTC33D has some type of storage problem that needs correction.

Welcome to TBN.

Another solution to eliminating water from your diesel is to use a Mr Funnel that has a membrane filter that does not allow water through it:

Home

First however is to get all the water out of your system, then when you use the Mr Funnel the system should remain water free.

Is your tractor stored outside in the rain, if so check that your fuel cap is not cracked.

Perfect. I will pick one up and see it it will fit. I have been keeping the tank full to reduce condensation and adding fuel stabilizer but clearly not doing something right. With the ring at least I'll be able to more clearly see when I have water in the tank.

I had water in fuel once, self inflicted. I drained the tank, removed fuel filter and water collected, and put same fuel back in using Mr. Funnel. What residual water left in tank passed into fuel filter housing, so I drained again. adding new fuel filter. Water is so easy to see when using off road fuel. (purged fuel lines to injectors just in case)

I agree with the other's. If you wait to catch the water at the filter, you will have more problems down the road like algae and injectors. It sounds like your fuel supply is contaminated at the source and that should be taken care of pronto. I would get a fuel sucker tube to the bottom of the tractor's fuel tank and suck up what is at the bottom.
