Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

32.2 F going into 40s, partly sunny day forecasted.

stull need to catch up on GM posts, behind two days now, still trying to get into the groove of working 9-5 again, until retraining is over and actual work resumes, when there is a more flexible schedule. Considering that there are no “live” jobs and that retraining is all computer driven at your own pace, AND the office opens at 7am and closes at 8pm, new management’s demand for clock p-in/out times to be “on the hour” are ridiculous and unnecessary — instead of being able to clock in at 8:47am and clock out at 4:47 we had to wait until 9 and clock out at 5, so I sat in my chair and spun in circles for ten minutes instead of progressing in training, and dogs had to wait an extra 13 minutes before they could go out and pee…

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe productive blessed day!

Good Morning Guys,
Ct,22 to start going to 40, with light snow falling now ! Sounds like more significant storm coming in on Saturday evening and going into Sunday!

Will recheck snow blower later today again !
e. I soldered my initials on it in HS
Dennis, that pretty much makes it your table ! 😉

Kilroy, those clocking in rules sound kind of arcane ! Waste of time IMO ! As a modelmaker at Pitney Bowes we did not have to clock in, so for all the years I worked there I enjoyed that luxury !

Kathleen started removing Christmas decorations yesterday! I
Think I will at least remove the outside lights on the bushes at our front door before the bigger storm arrives !

Hope all have a blessed and safe day ! 🙏

Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 4:30AM. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High around 60F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph.
Looks like there's a Fog Advisory on I5 for a short section east of the San Francisco Bay Area this morning, but it should be burned off by the time I get there this afternoon.

Sorry you're getting the Napoleon treatment by management, KJC. Obviously they don't have anything better to do than be a PITA.

Got three more hanging shelves installed in the garage yesterday, and that's probably all there's room for. Still have five left over and not sure what they'll get repurposed into, but they're out of the way on the back porch for now.

I measured yesterday and it looks like I'll need a full 100' of jetter hose to get the patio drain open. Haven't decided on renting or buying yet.

Van is mostly packed for the trip north today, but still have a few things to load. Mostly tools, but there's also a cooler for snacks and perishables I use daily.

Gonna take a while to get the home up north back up to temperature; the thermostat is down to 58F this morning.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'.

Morning all, 32 going up to 43 and very cloudy.
Got nothing done yesterday except day job, haircut and a little food shopping.
Family all have colds.

Scott, not sure they allow e-bikes in the Zoo. But it would be fun, for a while.....

Hope all feel better soon.

all cleaned up and presentable for visit to landlady's home for brunch.
I'm guessing she is making Swedish pancakes again.
bought a little house plant to take and will take my laptop to show pics
of my last two rv trips.

somewhere in the conversation I'm going to mention my need to improve the water here;
my small triple filter setup just isn't cutting it.
when I made ice from tap water recently (before I changed the filters)
when I broke the ice out of the tray, bottom of entire tray was brown. yuk.
threw that ice out and found some gallons of spring water and filled them with that.

maybe after that I'll ask for a man door in the garage.
And then a new washer and dryer
and some new blown in insulation
might not get invited back for pancakes...:giggle:

That is management most of the time.

I am up late this morning, low temp is 3 and the high to 14°F. Wind N 13 mph. 40% chance of flurries.

We got about 3" from the dusting yesterday. Sometime around 10 or 11 I will go out and plow.

RNG, drive safe.

Have a safe day all

37 mostly cloudy going to 47 and windy. Looks like our chance of snow Saturday has turned into a chance of ice.

Mostly, stove weighs 2.6 oz and fuel canister is 7.5 oz when full. so, about 10 oz. So, fun to take on day hikes...it's the water that weighs so much to make tea or coffee, and to rehydrate meals. So, we usually just eat nuts, apples, Babybels and maybe jerky. But when it's below freezing, a warmup meal or beverage is perfect.

Prayers said for you two, Buppies. Glad sugar is better.

Hope your wife improves soon, m70.

Scott, looks like you'll get your Christmas decorations down before we will. My wife is set on keeping them up until after our family Christmas get together, in another week...had to cancel it on Christmas weekend because she was sick. Kinda fun to turn on the Christmas tree lights each morning when I get up, and watch the outside lights burn bright when I was coming up the hill on the tractor last evening.

Took my wife to get Moh's surgery yesterday at 7:30. They start early. Good doctor, finished the procedure on the first go. Then did our first Costco run of the year. They had Mobil 1 oil at $10 off a box...glad to see they had 0W20, my grade, for the first time...they enlarged the store recently and carry more variety.

Then a Tex-Mex lunch and home to unload and then go into the woods to cut firewood. The rounds were so heavy, I had to hand split them into thirds to load them into my tractor carry box. Today, will try to finish them on the splitter.

Can not understand that mentality. I would so not fit in there
