For those of you doing the Cologuard test, don't overfill the specimen container. If "enough is good, more is better" does not apply. If it is overweight, they will reject it. Found that out the hard way.

I am late to this post and I haven't read all of them. We just got some sobering news today at work. A co-worker of mine has been loosing some weight and have stomach issues. She went to the doctor to get checked out, turns out she has a 45mm tumor on her pancreas, stage 4, terminal. They aren't even doing surgery, no point. They are doing chemo to hopefully extend her life which they say might give her 1-2 years if it works, if not well then less. Cancer is a *****!!

About the time I moved to NC, people in terror organizations were buying cigarettes in NC and taking them to NYC to sell for a huge profit. Can't imagine the profit now.... OK, a quick search and it looks like there is about a $7.50 tax difference per PACK of cigarettes in NYC vs NC. Pretty good profit margin.

High theft item... steal a car and ram it into the mini Mart to steal cartons of cigarettes.
The last one I witnessed totaled a 50k stolen car and did 25k storefront damage for 2k in cigarettes...
Guys in jail and I'm the one that called it in... 4 summons to appear for me as eye witness.

My BIL developed a tumor on his chest and refused to go to the VA to get it checked out for over a year. When he did, it was terminal and he only lived another 2 months. He was never a big guy, maybe 160lbs, but I saw him the night before he passed and he looked like one of the inmates from a concentration camp, was down to 90lbs. He blamed it on Agent Orange he was exposed to in Vietnam.

Wife & I got our annual wellness check today. Brand new doctor, we've outlived three...last one retired. Very nice little Asian lady with small hands! Yay! I thought...but no prostate exam and I was all ready ("what are you doing?" She asked.). Then I asked about a colonoscopy. Unnecessary at my age! 
They did draw lots of blood and needed a urine sample which I filled all the way then put top on with a vice grip. I could hear them cussing when I went for my mental evaluation. The lady didn't appreciate a clock with Roman numerals.
All in all it was an enjoyable 2 hours, for me not them although they did enjoy my sexual performance question answer, "I don't understand, what is this activity you refer to as sex?".
Doctor says she will see me in a year..."if that".
