Status of Everything Attachments

It seems while everything attachment is now down on their luck, some want to jump on and stomp on them. I’m not quite sure why.

I still do not know the story behind the story, because I don’t have access or enough skill to find the story on the Internet, but I think I will continue to give Ted and his company the benefit of doubt until I find enough evidence that he and they do not deserve more.

I suggest that you might want to give them the same consideration

Are they down on their luck? And who is stomping them? Discussing facts About a public company isn’t stomping them. If you’ve followed this thread you probably have all the facts there is. There is a lawsuit, thats pretty much it. Doesn’t mean EA is broke or in too much debt for the current market, but it’s certainly a possibility. My suggestion is if your a fan and want to help cause you think they may be in trouble, buy another grapple to show support.

When demand exceeds supply, what is best for them? Let all the products dribble out and upset customers or, produce one product you can turn out reasonably fast and satisfy that market segment?

My friend has one of their grapples coming because he likes the rotary mower he got from them at my suggestion initially. The price he paid and the mower he got would have been 2x or 3x the cost if he had gone with an equivalent Land Pride option.

I guess my NFA experience with Tax Stamps makes me less sensitive to these issues. It is all 100% money upfront and up to a year and a half wait to get a canceled stamp back to pick up my purchase. Some of those make a rotary mower look cheap in comparison; priced an M-16 or MP-5 lately? Belt feds are insanely expensive! A $300 22lr suppressor still takes a $200 tax stamp and a long wait for the canceled stamp.

While no one likes to wait, good products are often in short supply for good reason. If I could find EA Quality and Pricing somewhere else, then perhaps I wouldn't have to wait so long.

Or I could just go to Atwoods or Tractor Supply (TSC) and get the normal stuff that wears out fast or simply fails.
You have an m16? Wile i want an sbr i refuse to pay for permission of what is already OUR right. FATF.

I have a few tax stamps. If you refuse to buy an SBR as a protest to the $200 tax stamp, you are the one missing out IMHO.

Personally, I am more offended by treating a suppressor as a firearm! Yes, a suppressor to save your hearing is considered a FIREARM!!! Personally, I think they should be included with almost all firearm sales. HEARING PROTECTION ACT YES! Ineffective laws and false reporting NO!

In terms of the $200 tax a lot of people balk at, what does a box of 30-30 cost these days?

NFA => National Firearms Act
SBR => Short Barrel Rifle

FATF => %*)$@! ATF

Tax Stamp; aka the $200 Form 4 stamp you pay to get an NFA item. Not dissimilar to a Duck Stamp to hunt a Duck.

M-16's and MP-5 are the most well known full-auto firearms in civilian hands but, Uzi's are certainly popular along with the Ingram MAC series. The 1986 Home Owner Protection Act altered the production of these types of firearms.

A lot of the better companies in the NFA world are similar to EA in terms of their business model with a good dose of ineffective politics thrown in.

Rant: Owning body armor doesn't make someone a mass murderer or soldier either.

My 257 Weatherby is generally over $100 a box! Even 308Win is mostly over $50 locally.

What does it cost to fill the tank of your pickup most days? Yes, a $200 tax on a firearm is a lot but, we also pay excise taxes, just not separately so there are taxes there most people don't get excited about because they are not specifically called out.
