Talked with my 100 yr old Mum today. She sounds pretty good. Dad doing well also. Life is good. No seat time today. But I got the Porsche out for a bit today. Washed and gassed it up for a warmer day soon. Put new registration tags on the Cobra...looking into putting an electric power steering unit on it... such a PIA in parking lot use. Should be a fun upgrade.

Sorry to hear you need shoulder surgery. Yes I had it in 2018. If they send you to PT before surgery. Be careful it is easy to damage the bicep. I lost one of the muscle. I have a Popeye arm now. Were that muscle is rapped up. Surgery went good. Except I have problems with pain medication. So I was on Tylenol. Not strong enough. Harvey (Wroughtharv) sent me his ice machine. It was a life saver with the pain. PT went good for recovery. If surgery is on shoulder that is side you are handed on like me. Learn how to use other hand for cleanup or get a Bidet.
I was not able to sleep in a bed for 6 months. Even today i have a hard time sleeping on my right side.
Surgery did fix my shoulder and no more pain. I have full motion of arm.

Luckily it is my left shoulder and I found the right pain medication with my knee surgery. I think I have that same ice water pump machine but I found on the knee the new ice packs were just as effective. The surgeon has a lot of satisfied customers here in this old farts neighborhood so that is a plus also.

Good evening all. 42ºF for the start, .3 inch in gauge, overcast, light breeze Light wind, overcast all day, more rain moving in soon, and high temp was 49ºF. Make coffee and rekindle the insert after ash clean up to start day. Worked on estate paperwork, did get ride in, but no nap. Missed a phone call from Social Security and need to reschedule it. . Fish club couple dropped off dinner tonight.
Two_bit I understand, my stepdaughter and granddaughter are very good at phone checks.

Drew my problem at live concerts is the volume at which they are conducted. My ears rang for days after, I lost ,ore hearing at the concerts than working at the machine shop. Never heard about Woodstock until after the fact.

54 high in 60s today rain. Snow in Pennsylvania Sunday impossibility two days ago to say this means I’m not sure Don best chance mid month but may be mostly east coast very strange weather models cannot read more than 5 days out. Cold and snow always two weeks out we are running out of winter

Coffee is brewing. 35° with fog this morning. Heading to 39° cloudy skies. .43" rain yesterday. Got out with tractor and cleaned up some snow and ice around barns. Enough snow and ice has melted I can now see the drive. All mail delivery has been canceled for 2 days. Schools are closed also. Side roads have been a sheet of ice. Hopefully I will be able to get out and do some grocery shopping today. More rain is forecast for tonight.

I finally got back in the woods and cut firewood yesterday. Had to carry or roll most of rounds to the tractor...the smaller ones got slung...took turns slinging left handed, then right handed. Jumped 5 deer when walking up the hill.

Clam chowder and salas, then went to bed early after that.

45 outside right now, heading to upper 50's. Must be raining or drizzling as I hear the gutter every once in a while.

Ran up to Dad's place after stopping by HF for pumps and hoses. I had excellent customer service. I could not find a drain hose so a store employee called on most everyone to look for it. I shopped the store to make sure they had it in stock and available before I got there. The guy finally found it in the back and promptly made sure it fit the pump before I left. Smart move, great service.

Dad's place was underwater, I had managed to find the water supply the previous day which I had turned off. Unfortunate, the water must have been flowing for a while. Probably broke right after I left last time, with my luck. Since the house sits in probate I was advised to do minimal work, get the water out and turn on some fans. Which I did and am doing. Sad situation. Make sure your beneficiaries know some details of your properties before you pass.

Also unfortunate I stubbed my foot on some support while in the crawl space and broke my toe. Luckily it was not one I needed, LOL, Nice puffy and black this AM, Ugh.
