You Know You Are Old When

I probably wouldn't know their favorite current musical "artists" either, so it's fair. We're not old - we're experienced.
Neal Peart, to anyone born after 1960: "You missed so much."

If you continue to work past 65 with health insurance is there any reason to check in as it were?

Yup! So you need to get that all straightened out before you apply for Social Security/Medicare.

We had a bunch of younger nieces and nephews over Christmas Eve. I had Dean Martin and Bing Crosby Christmas songs going as background music.

My 18 year old niece asked “who is singing”?

I said “Bing Crosby, maybe the best singer ever”. She looks at me and says “who is that”.
Not to pick on your siblings, but this is a parenting fail. My kids are 10 and 14, and since at least age 6 or 8, each could have told Bing from Mathis or Como, in any Christmas song.

I always thought Piano Man was his greatest hit.
That whole era. Ballad of Billy the Kid was always one of my favorites, but really anything up through the Nylon Curtain (Allentown, Goodnight Saigon, She's Right On Time, Scandanavian Skies) was pretty good.

Uptown Girl was when he jumped the rails for me. Couldn't listen to him do that pop crap, after he'd done so much good work in earlier years.

Getting married can change a guy...

Wasn't Uptown about his wife Cristy Brinkley who is 70 now?

He calls it “Gramps playlist”.
Here's a classic, "you know you are getting old when" benchmark:

When you start actually enjoying your parents' music. You know, the same music you railed against and complained about having to hear in the car your entire childhood.

I believe you MUST register for Social Security after you turn 65 even if you decline coverage. There are penalties and stuff if you just ignore.
