Mostly, we stayed right next to Polynesian center, walked there to eat. Drove thru Hauula several times. Did not eat shrimp. Did like the Korean BBQ.
They were having pro surfing around sunset beach, road on that side very slow traffic.
My Army buddy (used to live here) met us at kahuku one night for dinner at seven brothers.

Poured first cup of coffee. 26° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 36 with a little of everything. Sun, Clouds, Snow and no warmth. Sassy does not look like a Rag Mop any more. Back to being a little Cutie. Grocery shopping today. Weather Guesser claim it will snow tomorrow. No need to get car dirty.

Mostly, my RV friend has been in Maine for a few years taking care of his mother. She died this summer. Stayed one more winter finishing cleaning up her estate. Plans to be someplace warm next winter.

26° now high around 30° and sunny today. Winds NW 20-25 mph, with gusts 40+ mph.

Yesterday’s snowstorm was a huge bust, got a minor dusting that was gone by early morning. Ran some errands and picked up a grocery order then just chilled.

Not sure about today, the yard is a muddy mess and too windy to play outside.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

From dust, to dust.

Mrs took another day off yesterday, probably will again today, still dealing with her good old-fashioned winter cold. Lots of soup, sofa time, and tea with honey

Uneventful day at work, but not at the new facility in Virginia — apparently there was a fistfight between a new hire and a line supervisor! Seems like the new office is not working out as well as intended. . .

Happy Saint Valentine’s Day! Be careful around garages in Chicago….

yesterday morning the higher elevations had snow, and the schools on the other side of the AT were closed - here is a pic from my commute yesterday, the snow on our side finally melted around 2PM:

The views on my commutes the last decade are vastly improved from my previous decade of the NJ Turnpike exits 15E to 7A or US 1/1&9…

37° at 1 pm.
Slept in till 10. But was up last night till about 3am. Need to adjust back.
3” snow but a lot melted now now, driveway now clear. Started with 1.25” rain last night.
My health ins co sent about a dozen benefit statements while I was gone. Each lab test, each prescription, etc was 3 pages in a separate envelope. They used to mail them quarterly and all combined in 1 mailing.
Going thru bills today
Got couple more tax documents.

good morning all
32 out now going only up to 37 in bright sunshine
extra propane tank never showed from Amazon, now they say tomorrow.
so...guess I'll take the tank off the heater I have in the garage and use that one.
actually worried I ran out of gas last night, so headed out shortly. At least I can open a little view
window and feel if there's heat in there. If not, still have a little left in another bottle.
Don't like to let my propane supply get too low, it's what runs the generator.

Dennis, looks like you had a wonderful time in Hawaii.
I'd love to go back but not flying makes that very challenging.

What a weather event yesterday. We had all the forms of precipitation that came down. It moved on rather quickly too. It would be nice if it could dry up as the grounds are mud most everywhere.

Muddy here, too. Only got rain, and then sunny wind yesterday.

Did a trip into town...surprised gas had jumped 40 cents since last fillup. Got a test hike on my ankle and dump run, too, on the way. Grabbed a bite to eat since my wife was staying with her mom last night.

The little yellow crocus has a new, 4th bloom.

The daffodils are also up, about 6", but not blooming...although I saw some blooming on the way to town.
