I am on FB. But most of the sites are private. I also belong to and moderate 3 different RV forums. The pictures I post here are also shared on FB and 1 RV forum. I use member blocking and reporting when people think the rules do not apply to them in all the places I visit.

m70, Happy Birthday to your wife!

BEF interesting story about the Ohio farm and train tunnel. I'd love to see your FB pix, but not a member.

Lou, hope headache eases away with that coffee.

Kyle, get well...that basketball goal needs your 3 pointers.

Saw lots of violets blooming yesterday while doing some old fashion firewood splitting by maul...the rounds were too heavy to bring up to the gas powered splitter. Also brought in some dried firewood to the porch counting on another cold spell and snow in March.
maybe i'll make a thread and share some on here, or add them to my life on the farm thread.. I have a few on there already, about the tunnel next to the farm....

62°F and .69 inches rain.
Maybe today will be drier.

Yesterday was perfect day for some homemade chicken soup. Thank you Costco rotisserie chicken.
With Sophie’s help found a home on the counter for the new espresso machine. Canada Dave assisted in several tries but not dialed in yet. Will continue today.

Otherwise another wait and see on wx

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I watched a YT video on coal mining last night and had to turn it off as they showed how tight and dark those mines are,
very claustrophobic. No caves, no mines for me.

Thomas, hope your wife feels better.
You too Buppies.

Went for bike ride less wind than forecast :) Still can't login to work system.
Is that smiley face for the less wind, or the can't login?
hehe
Well an early morning to all,
Headache woke me up a couple of hours ago, came out to the living room and sat in recliner after a couple of aspirin. Having my first cup of coffee now. 51F heading for 58F this afternoon after hitting 62F yesterday afternoon. But back down tonight to 21F with a forecast high tomorrow of 30F, then climbing back up for mid 50 highs for the next week. With some rain last night and today, so nice and soggy and muddy.
Not sure what I'll get into today, need to look for a hydraulic seal kit for the farm, not impressed with New Holland/CIH price of $308 just for one seal kit.
Every one stay or get healthy.
Maybe try these guys, if they have it for your model, it can save big bucks. They had seal kits for the bigger tractor, but not my 4310's 430 loader.

Hope headache is gone.

I hope your wife is better, and I'm glad you took her to the ER. Most of the worst cases of FP in America are from raw oysters and sushi. I don't eat either. When I go to sushi bars, I order the cooked stuff. It usually takes 2 days for the worst types of food poisoning to manifest into extreme situations.

Still sick here in central Texas. They told me to stay home the rest of the week. Need to set alarm for "Price is Right".... I'm feeling about 50-60%. Most symptoms are subsiding. Low energy. Fever seems gone. Cough and congestion. Not much sleep. Had no hunger for 2 days, now eating like a horse.....too much. Side effect of meds.... diarrhea. :(

Frits, tell your wifey Happy Birthday from Giddings Texas!

Happy birthday to Scotty's son.

Don, I wonder how much extra it costs the insurance company to keep giving the "end around" play? I know persistent people like yourself will get them in the end.

RNG, hope you can get an insurance quote, and keep making the moves safely. I know you have a LOT of stuff. Timely for friends to drop in and help move stuff inside. What are your ideas of moving your lathe and mill?

Helogabals, I have mixed views on sales. When I was young, I experienced a hyper fanatical vacuum cleaner salesman working on my poor mom. His product was good, but my mom could not afford it. She would NOT sign his little sales slip. He even berated the type of car she drove. He needed to be taken out behind the woodshed. But to sell things now, I would only sell for products that prove themselves superior, and sell themselves when the details are explained by the salesman.

Prayers for the sick, Buppies and wife, our country, ******, and Ukraine.

Coffee and aspirin: The Breakfast of Champions!

I've had that occasionally but not for a long time. Usually after too much partying in my young and stupid days. (Now I am old and stupid ... 😀 )

That's what I was thinking. Ever have that well water tested?

Those "bubblers" are not too expensive (except for the trips to the store for refills). Primo Water Dispenser Top Loading, Hot, Cold Temperature, White 3 or 5 Gallon - Walmart.com

1 degree here this morning (they had called for a low of 8). brrrr
I haven't seen a dug well that didn't have a few snakes and frogs in it. The snakes were what always bothered me the most when cleaning one out with a bucket on a rope and short handled shovel.
