Battery based vehicles of today and tomorrow pt 2

I stated 15-25% of full throttle.
Post just a single thread of evidence of an engine that has it’s maximum efficiency achieved at a 15% throttle setting
Before you said “15% of max HP”

Enough morphing jibber jabber

I’ll be waiting….
All the car manufacturers will want your magic engine too, I imagine.

While he searches for his imaginary engine, without any proof, of course…

here’s a typical modern turbo gasoline engine profile.

Maximum efficiency is centered on 3k rpm’s. Maximum efficiency maintains to 3.4 k rpm’s, and 175 Nm torque giving 84 hp.

175Nm is 80% of maximum torque of 219 Nm

84 hp is 48% of 174 hp max

No 15% here
No 12 hp here. It actually shows it has terrible efficiency at 12 hp
Just reality

Here is something interesting

On this forum I believe I am perceived as an EV hater.
On another forum I am perceived as an EV lover.

it seems trying to be “fair and balanced“ is next to impossible in the new world order.

It seems to me there’s just a couple screen names here, that label anyone not worshipping BEV’s, as haters. Gale Hawkins seems to me to be the driver of this thread. I don’t see him lowering himself to name calling like that. He just keeps the thread alive everyday with related links.
A couple other screen names though…😂
If a dog suits you better, does it make you a cat hater, or vise-versa?
If you like you your new BEV does it make you an ICE hater?

5 Greatest American Straight-Six Engines Ever Mass Produced

I'm not sure the EV age would have ever had a shot of success if it hadn't have been for these in line engines that were economical and the workhorse of the working Man.
I have 3 of the 5, ironically tuning up the 235 right now. Wife's Mom bought it new, motor completely rebuilt a few years ago at 250K miles. I need to set valve lash now. A few things I need to fix like wipers (cable slipped off). I fixed the clock! I need to install antenna & connect AM vacuum tube radio I repaired. Wife & I love working on it together. Wrong again.

I said “Gasoline engines are actually most efficient just shy of wide open throttle” quote.

If you bothered to watch the video I kindly provided you today, the kid says almost my exact same words.

You probably can’t keep full throttle and Max HP rpm’s differentiated in your head.
That might explain why you’re so confused.
You can be full throttle at 1,000 rpm’s…

Again you’ll just deny /change what we’re talking about.
Go ahead.
Go to a good engineering school and learn the definition of "efficiency". Don't confuse it with "economy".

Also learn what is meant when "specific" is used as a prefix such as "specific HP".

Like I expected.
You have no evidence to back your claims.
Just diversions, and excuses.
