You are obviously not aware of some of the things that were going on on other media sites. There were loyalists that were downright nasty to anyone that didn't agree EA was the best thing to arrive on the implement scene. They would have and probably would still follow Ted into quicksand and bash anyone else with a different opinion. It's kinda funny how silent those faceless keyboard warriors are right now. Were they all EA implement owners? I don't know if they were or not but their loyalty sure pointed in that direction. Were all EA owners that way? absolutely not. The rest of what I wrote you can figure out on your own. Sounds like I might have hit a nerve.

I can't dispute anything about EA's attachments, I don't own any. But what I will say is that I bet my attachments are as good or better than EA. EA wasn't the end all, do all in tractor implements. We'll all get along just fine without them. I do hate so many people got snookered by a crook but really they should have never sent someone thousands of dollars for something they had to wait to receive for so long.

I was patient to wait and there was no sign that EA was going to be run into the ground by Ted. I had no problem waiting 4 months to get the attachment I wanted.
Another reason to use a credit card for purchases.
Bottom line is just because Ted is a crook doesn't negate the fact that EA made great attachments.

What a dumb comparison. I have my EA attachments I ordered. And I believe many on this forum posted that they received their money back from their credit card company.

People lost billions "investing" with Madoff.

No. They were cult like followers because anybody who bought another brand was met with derision for having the nerve to buy something different...
I looked at them before I bought my MTL. Aside from the price difference, I didn't like writing them an interest free loan. Then I followed their link to their FB page... and saw some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed. Somebody had written a letter of complaint about a purchase so they posted it, and everyone took turns ripping the guy apart. After seeing that there was no way I would do business with them.

I won't dispute that is your opinion. Yet there were a lot of other manufacturers who do the same, without the hype and/or pyramid scheme business plan.

Any company that works on the premise of you pay us for it and then we will order the materials to build it and build it is obviously robbing Peter to pay Paul. When I was an HVAC contractor I was victim of that on several occasions. Anyone buying something from EA should have recognized that. It's sad that the CC companies and the banks have to pull up the slack for EA, Ted and the customers that bought Ted's equipment. Ultimately the rest of us take the hit for that in some form or fashion.

CC companies charge so much in interest to customers who carry balances on their cards that they have quite a pool of money to absorb losses.

I came to the same conclusions when I was shopping for attachments. No other company needed my funds for over 6 weeks before shipping product. Like you, I ended up with an MTL grapple for half the price and it has been good so far. Bought their pallet forks as well in a combo deal. I ended up getting all my attachments from other suppliers and have not had problems yet.

I never waited longer than about 2 weeks for delivery except for a 1/2" SSQA plate I ordered from eBay; and I had a full refund 2 days after I complained about the late delivery. I order the SSQA plate from another vendor and had it in less than a week.

EA did not run a good business. I have managed two manufacturing companies and did not fall off the turnip turck. Red flags were there. If you and I saw them, others did too, but chose to ignore them.

It is astounding EA was able to get fianncing for the expansion. A company that does not have sufficient cash flow to support day to day operations. will not be able to fund something like that. I suspect their bean counter may have some issues to explain.
