2022 Bronco sport review

Very true. Ford recommendation is oil changes every 10,000 miles. NOPE! As an owner of a 2016 F150 I follow the Ford forums closely and there are many examples of people having cam problems if they do 10,000 oil changes. No more than 5,000 miles!
I don't require (or read for that matter) any Ford forums. I have my BIL who knows and I go by what he tells me. Like he told me to run away from the twin clutch tranny in the Focus, which I did. Like I said, he knows as he was in the design phase. Even my wife's Burb gets an oil change and filter every 5K miles. Oil is still a cheap date today compared to internal issues.

One thing I do that is out of the norm is, I add the correct amount of Nano-Borate additive to the engine oil in ALL my internal combustion engines, don't matter if diesel or gas, water cooled or air cooled, they all get it and always have and always will.

Here lately with fuel prices, it's sets her back almost a C note to fill it up.... and it's getting worse, not better.

And what really ticks me off around here is that we have stations that cut off the pump after $75. I hate having to run my credit card twice just to fill up my pickup. Gas is now approaching $5 a gallon, if I put 30 gallons in my F150 that's $150!

Been driving my diesel dually a lot lately....

Since I took the above pic two days ago gasoline has jumped another 9 cents a gallon!

Just thinking here...getting 26 mpg going from UP to MN seems really good, considering there is no good freeway up there.

I think we all know who is responsible for that. Come November just use common sense when voting and I'll leave it at that except to say we have one philosophy that wants to eliminate fossil fuels entirely and the other who will promote energy independence and I know which way I'll be voting come November.

IOW, alternate fuels just don't work presently. They may in 20 years but not now.

One salvation for me and that is, every diesel engine I own (with the exception of my diesel pickup truck, runs on off road diesel and here in Michigan (at least), ORD isn't subject to road use taxes at all, so it's typically 40-75 cents per gallon less than on road ULSD. Of course here, off road ULSD is dyed red.

We take full advantage of the Kroger Super Market gasoline station and their per gallon discount on fuel which is caculated on groceries purchased and it's usually between 75 and $1.10 per gallon off the displayed pump price and Kroger has increased the fill up limit to $125.00 so that covers her 30 gallon tank and certainly covers my 11 gallon tank as well. I will fill my lawnmower cans at the same time however, but on the lawnmower gas deal, I always add Marine Stabil blue with every can full. It's not cheap but it eliminates the phase separation that is inherent with 'corn squeezed' e-gas. Not the red stinky stuff, but the blue (no smell) stuff. Been using it for years btw.

Far as my chainsaws and brush cutters are concerned, I run all of them on 'Canned Gas', in my case, Echo Red Armor, 50-1 canned gas.

That is true but the highways to and from are still posted at 55 so cruise control is still a viable option. I use mine every chance I get, e-way or secondary roads, no matter.

Real facts are; The roads dearest were on to get 26mpg varied from 55 to 65 mph plus some city driving mixed in. 5006 resides over 15 hours of driving away.
