71F with bright sunshine @ 10:45, calling for a high of 82F for the day.
LWS reports yesterday's high temp was 84.7F, we were outside most of the day so managed to avoid turning on the AC in the house. Woman complained last night though after She got home from neighbor lady friend's about it being warm in the house (78F) ... I thought it felt fine ...
She is out weeding in the garden, trying to take advantage of the shade before it goes away.
Was too windy again to do any glyphosate spraying yesterday. Today should be much better and that is the first item on the list for today. Foliage on the east side of the new forsythia bed that I initially sprayed has started to turn yellow ...
Woman worked on weeding the garden yesterday and spraying plants and shrubs with the peppermint solution.
I did manage to get all of the front lawn mowed.
After that I hooked up the Water Buffalo and grabbed the new box of Schultz 20-20-20 water soluble fertilizer and watered/fertilized both peach trees, both burning bushes, the ornamental Japanese cherry, the red maple, and the ginkgo tree before running out of water.
Peach tree has some leaf curl, will need to get it sprayed earlier to knock that out. It has started to form fruits however.
Took Buffalo around back and dropped it for a refill after that, might get to that later today.
Ten Day is showing a better than 50% chance of rain every day for the next 6 days. Figured I'd take advantage of the nice weather to get things done outside while I can, and leave the inside stuff until later when it's wet outside.
Woman's birthday is coming up so I got her a present ordered off Amazon ... after checking to make sure it was acceptable ...
Dogwoods and hawthorns now in bloom, redbud is fading.
Burning daylight so need to get moving.
Hope everyone is having a decent Thursday ...
