I was told the crank seal was bad. So he changed it and it didn’t last a tank of gas till the same thing. Won’t take gas. It’s a 70s saw that I bought new. My question is is there a place online to buy this. I’ve watched so many utubes I think I can change it myself. He is a great guy but I think he ruined the seal installing it. Thanks to anyone who might help

Try Googling Huskvarna crank seal. You did not supply your model no. You may need that info.
It's Husquavarna btw. Little more to rep-lacing crank seals that just putting it in. He probably ruined it when he drug the old seal over the keyway or over the crank shoulder. Takes a special tool to install most of them actually.

No OEM special tools needed. Can do everything with tools you have on hand really.
Screwdriver with some grinding best puller ever. Even over stihl pricey oem one. I'm not the only one to say this. ;)
Deep well socket will will install them fine.

What saw model number? Might be a easy one or one that is little harder.

Being you said 70's it might be one that had more then just the crankseals.
Some had other seals on fly and oiler side and some just on oiler side. Depending on saw model.

Without doing a air leak test your really just guessing and throwing parts at it. Find your leak first. GL.

Only Husky item I own is a Husky built, S&W branded 308 bolt action rifle and it's a really nice piece and shoots quite well after I canned the stock trigger and replaced it with a Timney.
