I brought my tractor home (from the rural property) for a few weeks while I sorted out some modifications.

I added a diverter on the front loader, with a tank drain

To plumb the tank drain, I brazed on an existing tank drain line. I brazed the bung on first, then drilled the hole though the tubing. That seemed like the better thing to do, avoiding contamination of the weld and avoiding alignment issues.

I added 2 diverters on the existing rear remote:

I used a regular ($60) cylinder for the side tilt, but had to make a swivel for the top and bushings for the bottom.

The rear diverters also have a tank driain plumbed to them, but I didn't put a quick couple on it because I currently don't have any rear attachments that would use a tank drain.

Its tight on the back, but I found a position for the top link cylinder where it doesn't smash anything.

Tank drain is a good idea that is not often thought of in the compact tractor world. You did a nice job installing the valves.

Why add a tank drain?

Some diverters have a operating pressure limit without external drain. External drain also allows use of manual override if diverter has this option.

Why add a tank drain?

Many hydraulic motors need a tank drain. There will be some internal leakage in the motor. If the drain is plugged, pressure will build and it can blow the motor's seal around the shaft. With a tank drain, any internal leakage is safely diverted back to the tank.

A while back I made a hydraulic post hole digger (see post). That motor on it has a tank drain. I've used it a little without the drain connected, but it was shipped with a weak plastic dust plug in the drain. So I thought the plug would leak if needed. I asked them if the drain is required (because some manufacturers say you can plug the drain), but Surplus Center told me not to plug it.

Yup, Lane Shark now wants a separate return to sump line installed for their hydraulic motors. Just had the install done a couple weeks ago. I think their reasoning was to keep hot hydraulic fluid from flowing directly back through the 3rd function valve.
