Reduction gear starter for the YM2310?

Hey all,
I was reading about reduction gear starters for other Yanmar engines and wondered if anyone knows of one for the YM2310? About 6 months ago I bought a new solenoid for my tractor and it has started to fail already. That business where you turn the key and there is the loud click from the starter gear being thrown into the flywheel but the motor doesn't energize. The solenoid is not rebuildable. I am upset the new solenoid has failed so soon. But not terribly surprised. So I am thinking that a new starter might be the best. A gear reduction starter. Anybody know of a part number?

Long ago I posted a longwinded description of the higher-wattage gear drive starter I put on the YM240. It cranks frantically fast. Recommended! Any gear drive starter specd for yours or a higher hp Yanmar of the same era should fit.

Just match the rotation direction, number of gear teeth, and the mounting hole diameters and spacing, and look at a photo to see that the solenoid electric motor on top won't interfere with anything. The one modification I needed was the wire down from the key switch had to be extended a few inches.

Stuff from Amazon is returnable if it won't fit, and the starter/alternator vendors there with thousands of good reviews are a good source. Mine came from DB in 2006, it still works like new.

Had this one rebuilt in 2011. New Solenoid and rebuilt the motor. $72.76.
The starter for Ym2310 SM-1277 and the YM2000/240 Starter SM-146 Fredricks so the Motors are different.
May not be rebuildable. My rebuilt works as it did when they rebuilt it. On it today and The Oil lights out in the count of 5. Rain or shine Hot or cold!!

Thank You. I will try to figure out the P/N for my 2310 and match it to the above. 96 bucks is a great price.
