Ken , when your used to a 5 hp Unisaw with a 52” unifence, anything less seems like a severe downgrade!!

I would share that sentiment, but mine is a Powermatic 66 that’s been in my shop for 40 years.

as far as Nissan Rogues, I would avoid a CVT if possible. They usually don't last more than 150k miles.
try to get a conventional automatic trans.
Nissan early on with Infinity started installing much better seats than you normally get.
pretty sure comparable Toyota more reliable, but Nissan has different style, younger look

Very few smaller vehicles without CVT these days. My Mazda still regular transmission. But I liked my forester with CVT.

The Prius has a CVT, but there is no belt or friction elements, it’s done with electromagnets. It has 20 years of history.

75° when I got up, 86 now and supposed to top 90.

I had a hurry up trip to Portland, ME this morning, had to get out of Philly before campaign events shut down the airspace. Cooling my heels up here until the campaigning moves to Pittsburgh and we can get back.

I’m waiting in grocery store parking lot for my wife , someone parked real close to my right side, when they open their door my vehicle beeped, I didn’t feel their doors hit me, but vehicle sense something. No one on other side of them, why do people park so close?

Don, we have one Ring camera on the Connecticut house. Seems to work Ok!
For many years our front doorbell didn’t work because the transformer got blown out during a lightning storm. So when I installed the Ring doorbell I had to replace the transformer! It’s nice to check on the house when your away for packages etc !

Yes we had one at the old house and it worked out very well. However that was part of the problem now as it has to be deleted before adding the new house and that is not a simple process. Also the notifications are not appearing on the phone which is a real problem to solve. The ring group started to blame the phone and I know that is not right because the other ring worked perfect on this phone. Round two today.

nice lunch out with friends, miserably hot out, picked some veggies for them, they are headed back to Jersey City after stopping at
Bowman's Hill Tower on way home, just below where I grew up and not far from Ken's home, and will climb the old stone tower.
I told them if vertigo and claustrophobia weren't issues, they would have a great time.
The tower gets narrower as you climb up the winding stairs.

what this pic doesn't show is the large white electric star on top that lights up for Christmas season at night.

No fees for any of my IP cameras. I’ve put up over 2 dozen of them. I do pay a fee on 2 cellular cameras.
This photo from Ip camera at the farm. Transmitted across the power line at top of picture to router and modem in the house, then cellular connection at that end, starlink on my end to my phone app.

And I have just the right younger generation man to install it too.
He'll program my phone and make it more user friendly.

The guy I went to lunch with today is head of IT for a large NJ city and
could also have done it, but today he drove all the way down here with his girlfriend
to thank me for giving him my Klipsch The Fives speaker system I was no longer using.
It will go to his family cabin in Arkville NY.

and maybe just a little bit for me to meet his girl, before they tie the knot.
I've known him since he was born, fairly sure he trusts my judgment.
He is the one who currently operates my 1988 Honda Foreman at his cabin in NY.
She was a smart, quiet, modest Asian, I think Korean, who is an LPN and loves to camp out.
They both work in Teaneck/Hackensack area.
They held hands and it was adorable.
So long his parents and I have waited...

When I get stuck on a pc problem, nothing like an IT head to call.
But for installs, my young friend locally, son of childhood friend, is marvelous.

came home to find tomatoes in pot drooping. I had watered them last night heavily.
I think I need a constant drip on them, pot sits on pavers against back wall in full sun.
must just bake the water out. Think I'm going to get a plastic jug and do the upside down poor
man's sprinkler.

Many people do NOT know how to center their vehicle in a parking spot frontwards nor backwards.
