Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #193,021
Was up at 5 for bathroom break, then sleep alluded me so read some. Back to sleep sometime, woke again around 9:30.
87° already, missed the cool morning, so nothing planned today except get recycling can in, just heard them come.
Been wanting to start looking at trailer brakes, but not in the heat.
Cats have joined me in laying around in bed.
🛌

Prayers sent
and from the rest of us too for our Texas friends.
would be a good day to stay home

I have lawn sprinkler on in front yard, trying to get some moisture there before sun hits it.
hand watered veggie garden and flower gardens, found a few more cukes, including a too large hider.

I've been looking at Houston's 1-10 again now, which is likely currently under water, for my rv trip heading East from Austin.
There is a beltway of sorts/rt 99 Grand Parkway, that winds around the top of Houston,
seems like a lot of extra miles, but at 10am, which works better?

Good Morning Again,
I put up a thermometer in the barn this morning, this way I can see what the temp is for Randy and Bill, easy conversion to Centigrade! 😉

looks like this storm will wind around, RS better batten down the hatches, then headed up to
New England. I think we are too far East for anything other than rain, which we really need.

Kyle, hope you are ok
you too Mostly, looks like a poor day for boating...

Good morning ! Low of 56°, heading up to only 73°. Heavy cloud cover, but only a 20% chance of showers. 🤞 For some..... I'll definitely like the temps.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! To NHBX. Hope you have many more.

Buppies, sorry to hear about the wife issues again. UTI's can really mess with both physical and mental status. Take care.

You guys in Tx take care. Those rain amounts are crazy. Hopefully flooding won't get too bad.

Not sure what I'm getting into today, but more than likely, going to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and take the string trimmer for a walk.

Everyone have a great start to the week!

I would take I10.
99 grand parkway is toll if that makes a difference.

So far no rain light winds west of the storm. Predicted an outer band will briefly glance by at 2pm. Hope we at least get a little rain out of it.

89 going to 92 today no rain that is needed badly

Hurricane and no power in Houston. Lots of memories about being out for a week and very hot. Motorhome and Onan generator was life saver

Bubbies, that is a lot to deal with

Delivered Cody to the groomer early this morning. Shelties grow very thick fur and it will be good to get him trimmed in this heat

Changed oil this morning on the pressure washer. 30 weight pump oil for the pump and 10-30 for the engine

went out and watered then decided to trim shrubs back along the driveway.
Filled a cart of clippings and left it to dump for another day. Had to come in.
I was definitely getting overheated again, sitting in front of a fan now.
and drinking and drinking
orange tea pretty good, sure would be better sweetened.
I might mix a little cran-pomegranat juice in with it

now going to call trash company and see if they will take my old aluminum storm door

my toothache plants are coming in nicely
ting flowers and buzz buttons, fun name
figured it was a good plant for me...with my continuing root canals and crowns.
Acmella oleracea is a species of flowering herb in the family Asteraceae.
Common names include toothache plant, Szechuan buttons, paracress, jambu, buzz buttons,
tingflowers and electric daisy. Its native distribution is unclear,
but it is likely derived from a Brazilian Acmella species.
