Good Morning
67° and a bit of light drizzle happening. Mostly dry day forecast with chance of thunderstorms late, high of 85.

Yesterday was mostly catch up and unwind. Started with unloading the Kubvan from Saturday night’s show. It was packed to the gills, with the overflow on the roof and passenger seat.

My band mates all came up to help unload and put everything away, which is helpful because it all goes upstairs. But many hands make short work.

I fed them brisket sandwiches for lunch, and started on soldering up the copper in the boiler room. I called it a day at a convenient stopping place, and took the evening off.

Today will start back in the boiler room, I hope to get it finished and pressure tested today. Later this afternoon, my buddy is coming over to help with the air handler and ductwork.
Nice work on the heating manifolds, good to see craftsmanship still being done.

Strange animal beyond backyard this morning. Cutting grass for fire prevention.

Mostly,
Maybe check the light bulb socket. Is it rusting? Try LED bulbs?

Woke at 6 for bathroom break. Got back to sleep. Just woke again.
Radar shows green, rain gauge shows 0.

Friend of a friend can’t look at my AC. Said it’s now against company policy to do any side jobs.

Hmmmm........sailboats.
Morning all!
59 going to 84 today. Need to get a few small projects done indoors and then get the grass cut before all the rain comes.
Wife and I made it to 38 years yesterday! We went out to eat a few times this weekend to celebrate.

Got all of the apple wood processed and painted that I thought would make nice bowls. Hunt for chain ended up with giving up on my 40 something year old saw and buying a new one.
Nice Husqvarna 450 and an extra two chains and new file.

The friends I got the apple wood from recently lost their 7 year old pet turkey. They gave me some of his feathers and asked if I could make something to remember him by. I used their apple wood and some cedar and finished it with walnut oil finish.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Another work of art.

Good morning! Low of 54°, heading towards 77°, partly cloudy, but 60% chance of t-storms. Yesterday was a bust for any good quantity of rain, just a passing shower dropped .01".
Humidity is at a whopping 62%, dew point is 52°. We normally don't see numbers like that.

Phil, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! (Belated). Hope you have many more! Really nice job on the turkey.

Drew, glad you got the magazines before the rain hit. Nice table for the RV.

Don, good to read about the garage organizing was successful.

Buppies, hope the grass dries out for you. No shortage of dryness out here!

Scott, nice car! I am assuming you did the resto?

Successful batch of dog food completed for the next 60 days. Max was happy that he wasn't going to starve.

Today's agenda is to get some wood joined up for a small project this morning. This afternoon, Max goes to the groomers, so probably won't be able to get involved in anything else.

Everyone have a great start to the week!

I figured out how to post a video to Youtube and the link is below.

Here is the Big Boy Locomotive video from last week in Elko, NV. Such an awesome sight and my friend and I were lucky to see it!

Thanks for posting. Amazing, and you got to see it start rolling.

Dennis, wish Popgadget was closer to you. He's a whiz with this stuff.

finished my food shopping, nice chat with lady cashier about the benefits of pickle juice
she knew folks who drank all the juice from the pickle jars.
well...haven't worked my way up to that yet. Have always been concerned about too much salt actually.
I'm sure it's primarily the vinegar that is good to ingest.
Seems that what irritates you mildly is good for you.

today's score was two Vlasic baby dill gherkins for 4 bucks a jar. Hard to get them on sale.
Not a cheap veggie due to refrigeration and glass jar.
My cukes were a real disappointment, vs the tomatoes this year that are going bonkers.
I just picked another three.
That six foot tall jungle was just packed with tomatoes inside.

I had run out of quart baggies for tomato deliveries, so picked them up this morning and will deliver
two bags of three tomatoes each to two neighbors.

Ted, I bet Max slobbers a lot looking at all that wonderful food...I mean he's a dog
and his primary purpose is to get to that food. Is it all dry or do you change flavors at times?

Frits, sorry you got stung. Ears seem to be in vogue...
vascular area, geez you won't be able to wear your pierced ear rings for a while.
hope icing or something helps

Chesapeake picture very familiar to me, lots of good memories.
