I bought 50 10' Priefert economy corral panels to cross fence a pasture for the new horse. A 24 y/o Hanoverian trained to Prix St. George. Came in by equine transport from California last night at midnight. He weighs about 1200# and stands 17.2 hands tall.
Our new guy in daylight.

Better you than us. Had enough horses to last a lifetime. Now the pastures are converted to alfalfa hay, fence removed and now making money instead of spending money (on horses). Like a boat but instead of pouring money in a hole in the water, pouring money into a hole in the pasture....lol

That should be a good tool. I just received a Ridgid, as my tools/batteries are all Ridgid.

All my cordless tools are Bauer and I have a bunch and never had a failure from any of them, batteries included. I cannot see paying big bucks for any name brand cordless tool when they are almost all made in Asia anyway. I have one DeWalt cordless drill and when it peters out, it will get landfilled and no more anything except Bauer.

Contemplating buying a weld on grapple from Green Manufacturing to weld on the top of my lighter duty material bucket. All I need it for is toting branches to the burn pile. I will have to overlay the top with a piece of heavy gage angle iron so it don't defrom the bucket, but that is it and I already have the hoses and my cab tractor has the 3rd function already plumbed in but I don't require a 3rd function valve. I just use the top set of remotes on the back of the tractor to actuate anything I put on the loader arms. No need for extra valving at all. I even set it up with disconnects between the loader frame and the tractor proper so I can remove the loader if necessary without disturbing anything.

I have 3 sets of remotes on each of my tractors and I rarely use all 3 sets except when running my new Kubota BV Sileage bailer.

All Pioneer fittings btw.

If you are talking about The Thumb by Greens Machine, that is the same set up I use. I welded angle iron to the top of the bucket and bolted the bracket to that. You can remove the thumb with three pins while leaving the bracket on the bucket. I also put a toothbar on the bucket. I run mine off a rear remote because the tractor already had one. You will be amazed at how much brush you can pick up with this set up. I love mine.

Pretty much all my cordless stuff is Dewalt. I do have a Ridgid impact in my truck for changing tires though. Downstairs I keep my previous Porter Cable impact driver-used to have the full compliment before switching. Big difference in performance between Dewalt and P_C.

I have the Harbor Freight Hercules 12" miter saw with the nice little shadow guide. Thing feels and works identical to the Dewalt branded version.

I'm going to try to keep buying Dewalt for cordless, but I'm not afraid to pick up some Harbor Freight stuff. Particularly as they have a store in the next town over and I pass it all the time.
